Technical competence but does NOT disclose the side effects of the procedures he thinks you ought to have. This has left me with weeks of pain (so far) due to surface nerve damage and permanent facial scarring which is significantly worse than he told me I could expect. All this for a procedure which I didn’t need to have (a previous dermatologist had already cleared me).
In addition, one of his assistants does not know how to inspect to make sure that a wound has closed before removing sutures — this meant I had to take a day out of work to get re-​sutured, with all the attendant problems that entails.
If you can’t avoid this practice, DO YOUR HOMEWORK and don’t rely on him to disclose side-​effects, etc. Also don’t let him talk you into anything without a second opinion.
