Eek!!! Was exactly what you’d say if you saw the mess Rebecca made of my hair color. I had gone to Rebecca 4 or 5 times for color touch ups on my long medium blonde hair. She had always done a very nice job UNTIL Dec. 3, when I went in for a simple root touch up. Rebecca NEGLIGENTLY mixed up black dye which she put on my roots & worked through about 2⁄3 of my head. She didn’t notice at that point. She went through the entire color process allowing the color to fully set — still didn’t notice. Finally when she rinsed my hair she realized that she had grabbed the wrong tube of color and part of my hair was now colored black! She tried to fix it by applying full head highlights, which has left a black ring of hair surrounding my face, the crown of my head looking dark with patches of gray(and my hair was not gray before) and about 1⁄3 of my hair toward the ends are the original beautiful blond color I had when I walked in her door. Rebecca did not call me the next day to see how I was doing. I left her a very blunt voice mail describing the MESSSHEMADE of MYHAIR& how horribly, horribly ugly it is. I told her I planned to seek out a specialist to correct this disaster and would be sending her the bill. She responded my sending me a text stating that she felt she should have the chance to fix it herself. SHEHADHERCHANCE! In fact, Rebecca has refused to take responsibility for HERNEGLIGENCE to focus on getting my hair repaired unless I subject myself to her plan and let her do the color — -really! She also stated that the COLORMESSSHEMADECANNOT be reversed. Here is her direct quote, «Your hair cannot be and will not be completely back to where we desire.» This is truly a case of BUYERBEWARE. Since Bekhair is part of the independent salons located at Mosaic in Kirkland I have little recourse other than to pay for the correction elsewhere and recovery the costs through small claims court— a huge hassle that could have been avoided if she had simply stepped up to do the right thing. Although it is embarrassing – gotta post the pictures — unbelievable. What is even more scary is that Rebecca told me she had used the wrong color on someone once before. In that case, she used a blue color as highlights instead of the correct color, then had to break at the wine and work to reverse her screw-up. AND, she seems to find these situations«funny»!!

Called several times on different days and at different times to try and make an appointment. She never answered so I left a few voicemails and she never got back to me. Don’t buy the living social or groupon deals. What a scam!

Saw Groupon and was going to buy, called first regarding appointment availability and she told me not to buy the Groupon, just pay her & it will be same price. I did not see the fine print that there is an extra charge if you have hair longer than shoulder length. She started saying I needed corrective color because I had done my hair color at home — I don’t think it’s bad. And then started telling me extra charge for long hair, she seemed mad. I just left. Would not recommend her.

I went with my mom to BekHair yesterday as my mom had a Groupon deal for a wash, cut and style. Rebecca is so sweet and kept the conversation going without making it seem forced or awkward. My mom is nearing 60 and has thinning hair. Rebecca gave her the cutest bob. She advised her to keep it all one length, which is what everyone else has been telling her not to do, but I admit, it looks so good! She used these delicious smelling Bumble and Bumble thickening products on my mom’s hair that totally transformed it. My mom also asked Rebecca about coloring options as she does have some gray hair. Rebecca told her to leave it because it is so beautiful naturally, or if she still wanted to cover it, just add some foils to blend it in, which I think is a great idea. Rebecca also told me that she would give me a deal but she does charge more for longer hair simply because it takes a lot more work. I completely understand, but would love to get my hair done by her. The salon is GORGEOUS, although a bit small. She makes it work, though, and has everything laid out so it’s accessible and organized. I love the location, as it’s just one freeway exit from my home and in the same building as my work. We will definitely be going back there. Thank you, Rebecca! Oh, and she’s also going to the cutting class in New York this spring. Love that she keeps herself updated and is really passionate about what she does. That’s the one reason I left my original stylist, is because she was outdated and refused to learn any new tricks or styles.

Rebecca is a consummate professional and educates her clients on products and techniques to keep us looking great! She’s a trainer, a color consultant and frequently flies to New York for updates on the latest trends to keep her clients looking current! Having been a client for years at a prior Salon she sold when she moved away, I was thrilled to find her back on the Eastside doing her sassy hair do’s, and beautiful, rich color. With her awesome Bumble and Bumble products she will equip you with your own bag of tricks to make even the thinnest baby fine hair shape up and behave long after you leave the salon chair. Her saucy candor and warm humor are a breath of fresh air! I’m always sure to set my next appointment before I leave, so that I am sure I don’t lose my spot! Location inside of Mosaic Salon is great, you can book a service like your manicure or pedicure for the same day with another vendor for the full spa experience! 3 hours of free parking in the garage below, plenty of time for a cut and color.

Worst experience ever at a salon. Not only did Rebecca use extreme and unnecessary force beating the color brush against my head as if there is something frighteningly wrong about this person, she was also unprofessional and rude. She stopped 5 times while I was paying good money to be in her chair to take phone calls or talk to or sell products to other people. As far as her skills go, the color was ok, nothing special, but ok. However, her skills are hugely lacking in styling and finishing hair. The cut also was a disappointment and not at all what I asked for. Over priced for end results and unprofessionalism. I kid you not, there was something creepy and scarey about this woman. It has taken weeks for me to even be able to write this review, but I wish someone had warned me.

Color came out beautiful but she was very rough while brushing with long hair. I don’t recommend if you have long hair, she seemed annoyed that my hair was long prior to the start of the appointment.

When I first booked an appointment with Rebecca(Bekhair), my hair was in poor condition, the color was drab, and I needed a cut that worked for thinning hair. It took a little more than waving a wand, but Rebecca truly worked her magic and I was so pleased with the transformation that I couldn’t wait to take a new ‘selfie’ to use on my web pages. Bekhair is a small, trendy salon with a good selection of Bumble and Bumble products. Rebecca knows hair, listens to her clients, and has the experience and skills to customize colors and styles. She is professional and personable. I won’t go to anyone else!
