Acupuncture is an ancient art and it’s effective for many medical and emotional problems… but not all. Susie Hayes is an excellent accupuncturist with many years’ experience and an honest, open attitude about who can be helped and who can’t.
I started seeing Susie three years ago at the recommendation of my massage therapist. I’d started having migraines and conventional medicine was treating the agony but not fixing the underlying problem. Susie put needles in me during four appointments in two weeks and the headaches started to go away. With a few more weeks of twice-​weekly sessions, the migraines went away completely for about six months.
Now I go for a «tune up» once or twice a year (they seem to flare up in spring and fall; I think they are connected to hormonal changes and seasonal allergies for me) and the migraines stay completely gone.
Her treatment facility is beautiful, comfortable, and private. She accepts and bills most insurance plans, and if your insurance plan doesn’t cover it, don’t worry, her prices are very reasonable. I pay cash for all my treatments and it has been worth every penny. She offers a Microsoft discount as well.
