H&R Block

I would have been better off filing myself! My situation wasn’t that complex, married filing separately. In this state you must always file form 8958 in this situation, but that wasn’t done. Now I get to battle this out with my evil ex, thanks a lot for that H&R Block! I’m surprised that TurboTax or whatever H&R Block runs even allowed us to complete the return. And how can a «senior» tax professional not know something so basic? My taxes were incorrectly filed and I now have a huge mess on my hands. You think I’m going to let H&R Block deal with it? No way I’ll ever let these idiots touch my taxes with a ten foot pole! I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up getting audited because of this. Unreal.

We absolutely hated their service! We called 2 months in advance and ask specifically for someone that KNOWS how to do out of state taxes. (State X)
ended up googling for that person on how/​what she should put on our file! She waisted time reading books while we googled the answer for her. She also waisted our time and money filing for moving expenses and not mentioning that she will charge us for filling that 5 min form! (Like we filed that form to save and get back some money and H&R got that money maybe even more!!!)
One reason we went there was that they had our previous taxes –we had no changes comparing to our last year– she said she doesn’t have access/​can’t see those forms!
I will save that 300 $ and file it myself next year.

I shouldn’t have to wait a hour until my scheduled appointment. Just because someone says they are in a rush doesn’t mean you are to help them instead of the person who actually spent the time to schedule an appointment. They assumed just because I am young I have time to spare compared to the older lady who was in a rush. Unfairly treats customers!

This year’s return was not too difficult, but Yelena saw me through some issues with a previous return that hadn’t been filed. Since I had used
to efile and had received a confirmation, she took care of me without charging for that part.
I feel super confident in everything, and am looking forward to a sizeable refund!

I always do my taxes at a H&R Block cuz they’re always thorough when going over my taxes n explaining every little detail. If you ever come to this one ask for Rod… he’s the SHIZZNIT!!!
