Such a beautiful store and totally my style but you could never accuse the staff of being pushy with their sales tactics! Not welcoming and even if you’re the only customer in the store they will ignore you. The displays are gorgeous to look at but impractical when you actually want to buy something, and the store is so overcrowded(you can’t walk with a stroller or wheelchair here) and there are signs everywhere telling you not to take photos or sit down or touch things! Funny thing is that I would normally spend far too much in a store like this on home décor and gifts but the atmosphere and unfriendly sales persons always put me off!

**DONOTDOBUSINESSWITHTHESEPEOPLE** If I could give them no stars I would!!! We ordered candles with this business, they were great when purchasing, but after the deal was done their whole demeanor changed, lets start off with never responding to any messages nor to any of our emails. When we got the candles they smell good but once lit they have NOFRAGRANCEATALL! We even tried putting them in a small area and there is no smell what so ever. When i finaly got through to a person I spoke to the owner Haley, she was very condescending and rude and basically said«I was Lieing and just wanted my money back» We are a very successful Flower shop and stand behind our products to which these candles do not meet out standards and we will not sell them in our store. I will never do business with them again. They have other business name as well. Rendezvous Collection! I Highly recommend not doing business with these people!!!

We walked into this store today, and – wow. It is so crammed full of product that it looks like a mess! Don’t get me wrong – it is a store full of beautiful(yet all monochrome) items – but you can’t really move through the store at all. And then – the numerous, stern signs with all of the rules of what you canNOT do in this store. «Do not sit in this chair – there is a beach outside if you want to sit.» Really? Also, do NOT touch the towels, do NOT take photos – how snobby and pretentious. I was about to buy a single coffee mug, but the absurdity of the entire shop convinced me to walk out empty handed.

Adorable! I was running errands in downtown Kirkland and rushing through a busy day, but I just had to pop in here and check out the goods. Kudos to Haley’s Cottage for having a great location and more importantly, a gorgeous store and window display! That’s really what got me to stop in on such an erratic day. I drove past, spotted the store and made a mental note to race back by there between meetings. The mix of stuff here is eclectic but mostly perfect for anyone who likes shabby chic, rustic, and French Country furniture and home décor. From wall decorations to lighting to sofas, and dining sets, you can furnish a whole home from here. I loved the soft pastels and cream tones of things and spent most of my time practically drooling over it all. If Haley is the name of the owner, she sure has amazing taste! I’m currently planning to move in a few months and am just waiting for my new home to be built. It’s a good thing I’ve been pocketing money for all new furniture because this is exactly the type of store I’ve had in mind. Items appear to be good quality and less expensive than places like Restoration Hardware where you’re mostly paying for a brand and not quality. Check here first and support local. I know I will!

We are Kirkland residents and frequent downtown Kirkland on a regular basis as we love it here. I’ve also learned to regularly avoid Haley’s Cottage as the vibe isn’t very friendly or welcoming. I’ve visited a few times during peak and off-peak seasons and there’s never been a greeting or a smile. I feel as if I’m being watched the entire time in the store and I like to take my time and really explore, but find myself rushing out because it’s just too uncomfortable. The selection of gifts, décor, and vintage-looking finds is superb, the pricing is average to occasionally excessive, and the displays, though beautiful, are entirely too overwhelmingly cramped together. They clearly need a larger store or need to cut back on merchandising so clients can roam more freely without having to worry about knocking over something simply by turning around. It’s such a shame because their location and merchandise rock; it’s the overall mood that’s a killjoy.

This is in regard to the clothing store — there are two! Go for the product — the people who work there are um… fairly trying. Our experience was that they were pretty self absorbed as in trying on clothes themselves and ignoring us other than to push a sale — not ask questions as to what we might like etc… and then told me the shoesI bought won’t be found anywhere else.(Nordstrom carries them, but given the same price and that they were right in front of me — I purchased anyway.) Not worth the conversation that would follow. Again, great stuff — but depending on who is working there — brace yourself and don’t let it deter you from getting something you like. I’m assuming that the response to a previous shoppers review about returns was written by a store representative… respect the store for not being concerned about expressing their opinion, and it’s a good snapshot of what to expect.
