Really disappointed. Closed due to budgetary reasons. Only open to bulk and reservations.

This is my favorite tea shop in the state of Washington. I’m a big tea lover– I don’t drink coffee and I’m very picky about my premium loose leaf teas. I love that it’s locally owned, and not a chain, the employees are very warm and friendly. Also much better prices than other chains like Teavanna.

This place is great! Just go in there and let em know what your looking for(ie. «Something spicy or sweet»). They will recommend and then brew something great. This is some of the best tea I’ve ever had.

So much options. Tea lattes or teas are great. Place is very comfy and neat. A Tea person must-have.

A peaceful tea room in Kirkland downtown. I love the vari(tea) and range of teas on offer. The masala chai latte is the real deal. An iced version is great for a sunny day.

I know my tea — I know what I like and what I don’t like, so when I walked into Savrika and asked«do you have assam?» and they said they had more than one kind, I was impressed. I asked for the maltiest, deepest assam they had, and they didn’t disappoint. I could only breeze in and out today, but I will be going back at a time I can sit and relax a little. It was fun to talk tea with the employees, too!

A lovely place to sip tea and chat with friend. The shopkeeper is a sweetheart and the teas yummy. The chocolate treats are a nice surprise!

Cute tea place in a convenient area of town. A bit on the pricey side but well worth the visit on at least a bi weekly basis if you’re a local. If you’re not from the area, it’s not particularly worth the trek. There’s areas for people to sit at and drink tea. It’s never really crowded so you’ll definitely get a seat. The staff are nice but on the quiet side. By the counter, there are containers where you can smell the tea and see the ingredients. It’s helpful when choosing. I’m very picky about my tea so it’s perfect for someone like me. One thing I’m not a fan of is that they keep the tea leaves within a small container in the cup which can lead to over steeping. When I received my tea, it was too hot so I let it sit for 20 minutes and by then the tea was too concentrated. Either steep the tea for me and take the leaves out or serve it at a lower temperature.

Since this page appears to have been corrected, I will up my review to three stars. — — — — — — — — As I haven’t actually been able to enjoy any of the teas here yet, I have to give this place one star, even though I was really excited about trying it out. Heads up for people who don’t want to make the same mistake, despite the Unilocal page stating differently, this place is not open on Mondays.

This was my first choice as far as places to go stop in on this beautiful spring day. It’s listed under«tea and coffee» on Unilocal. To clarify: they don’t have coffee. Which would have been fine, except my boyfriend isn’t a tea drinker and was really looking for a coffee. The place was pretty empty. The guy stood behind the counter, and told me they have an «interactive menu of 200 teas.» Um — OK. Seems a lot overwhelming if you aren’t exactly a tea connoisseur. There was no offer to assist me either. So I just stared at this table, with little tins of tea. The guy behind the counter… stayed behind the counter and left me to figure it out on my own. There’s otherwise no menu. I asked for one. He directed me to the table. I’m not really interested in opening 200 cans of tea. That would take forever, and I don’t know enough about tea. There is a sheet of paper right by the check out, that you can look at — although apparently won’t be directed to — that has a list of tea lattes. That, along with the sign out front that says«no pets» — just put me off. We walked down somewhere else where I get a tea latte, the boyfriend got coffee, our little dog was welcomed, and we had some snacks.

Great tea… superior service. This is such a cool little place to grab a wonderful cup of tea and have a quiet place for a meeting. I cannot recommend them enough. Oh… A great desert from the case is a yummy compliment to your tea.

Great Shop! I swear if they don’t have it you can’t find it. The Oolong is amazing the best I have found. Really nice people and great atmosphere. They really know their tea.

Relaxing place, good music and wonderful tea. Ricky makes the best London and Seattle Fog latte! Customer service is excellent, the staff are well versed in the tea they sell. All I have to say is a flavor profile I am looking for and they offer me several teas blends that fit the bill. Teas that will fit for anytime of day, from morning healthy lift(detox day), midday bolt(Kolkata chai), to warm liquid dessert after dinner(caramel carousel). My go to favorite is a herbal Lake Breeze. Teas is my alternative to coffee and wine. Warm flavorful liquid to fit my mood throughout the day/week. Cheers!

Really cool ambiance, love the fact that the shins were playing when I walked in. A very friendly and knowledgable guy oriented me to the process of selecting my tea! I ended up asking him for a recommendation, which was great: Hojicha Green tea because I love strong, non-fruity green teas. Peaceful, beautiful, and the tea even comes with chocolate! Fun.

I’ve only been here once but my experience made me fall in love with tea again! They have hundreds of teas to choose from. It was a bit overwhelming at first glance but they explained the teas were organized by different types like green, black, decaffeinated. You can«sample» the teas by sniffing the canisters they are in. I chose the Adam and Eve tea. It was fruity but light enough for a evening drink. I was meeting a friend so after I paid, I found a comfy seat. Couple minutes later the tea attendant came by with my tea, timer and chocolate sample and explained how the process worked. 3 minutes later I was enjoying my tea! My only complaint was they closed at 7pm which seems pretty early compared to the other local shops. I felt like I just sat down and wasn’t able to fully relax before I was told it was time to go.

Wow! This place is awesome! I am sitting here right now enjoying a break from the Seattle Heat Wave of 2014 and enjoying a refreshing cup of ____tea. I walked in and was immediately and was engaged in a friendly manner by Tyler and Kat(sp?). Kat proceeded to take me through a miniature tea tour being it was my first time. She was very helpful and enthusiastic about the many different types of tea displayed by Savrika. I settled on a cup of iced Day After Detox tea which is an herbal blend meant to sooth and calm. It has a slightly sweet scent reminiscent of honey and peppermint, and tastes cool and refreshing with a slight zing of citrus. While waiting, Tyler crafted a random tea, spice, and milk blend(new invention) which was one of the most refreshing tea based drinks I have ever tried. If it were bottled, I would buy that stuff in the checkout aisle of the grocery store. Overall, I had a great experience here today at Savrika, which houses a great environment to hang out and relax, as well as try fantastic teas. Oh yeah, the magnetic tea canisters are a very cool touch, which I could see working well in the home too. The bottom line: come check this place out!

I am in LOVE! I only drink herbal teas and the two gentlemen working when I went in today were so knowledgeable on blends and flavors. I unfortunately don’t remember what I ordered, I just asked them to make me what they recommend bc there were so many types, and it was simply amazing! The arm chairs were so comfy and they refill your pot with hot water so… That means I stayed for quite some time. It’s so cozy! They have some pastries and added bonus, GLUTENFREE /VEGAN desserts! If you love tea, you have to check this place out. It’s amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

If I lived in Kirkland, this would be my second home. I LOVETEA! I love ambiance! I love good customer service! Savrika Tea has it all. It’s the kind of place where you have your favorite book, pot of tea and plant your butt all day there and just enjoy the peace and tranquility. They offer so many types of teas that you could go every day for weeks and probably never have the same one twice. But I’m just guessing. They have plain teas or special tea lattes. They also offer soy, almond and coconut milk. I’ve tried their coconut tea latte and GF salted caramel brownies. That dessert was absolutely amazing. It was moist and flavorful but not too sweet. I’ve also tried their bourbon chai tea latte. Not too spicy and very mild but quite tasty. The only reason I’m docking a full star is because I almost swallowed an eye lash. Yes, I said an eye lash. I pulled it out of my mouth and it was a short hair w/the bulb. How do I know it wasn’t mine? The drink was to-go and the lid was already on when I was sipping on it. And it was a brown lash. I have black hair. Why am I not docking it more? Because I love this place and things happen. When I’m back in Kirkland again, I’ll be sure to stop by with my book and enjoy the sipping experience.

Great tea place in downtown Kirkland! Very clean comfortable place to sit down and enjoy fine tea and little finger food either by yourself or with some friends. If you are having your tea here, they have little chocolate for your tea and welcome you for hot water refills. I noticed timers were given to costumers having refills. That’s the right thing to do! As for snacks, they have tasty selections, from little finger sandwiches to macarons. As a low carb costumer, I would love to see some reasonably prices low carb snacks in the future. That would be icing on the cake!

I came into Savrika Tea for a quick look around, and ended up having an absolutely lovely experience. This shop reminded me of a more relaxed version of a tea shop/restaurant in San Fran called Samovar Tea Lounge, which is an awesome place that I highly recommend. Savrika offers a huge selection of loose leaf teas that you can buy bagged or in tins. A nice variety of bites to be paired with your tea(I had the chocolate chai bread pudding with caramel sauce. It was fantastic! Seriously, I’m still thinking about it.) And they also pair each cup or pot with complementary chocolates! Seattle was been sorely missing a good and proper teahouse, and this really fits the bill. When we were there we were able to meet and talk with the owner, who is a very lovely lady, and she and her staff are accommodating and super knowledgeable. On a whole, my experience at Savrika today was wonderful. I’ll be coming back very soon.
