Always an excellent choice for a place to take the dogs for a Sunday stroll! There’s something for everyone! Dogs are allowed off leash during off peak season/hours and there are plenty of trails for squirrel chasing and beach for a dip if your pup is so inclined! It a shame that not all dog owners are responsible and scoop but that’s the same anywhere you go! As a local living just around the corner I head to the Fort at least a few days a week!

Awesome place to bring your dog. Nice coastal trail and a year-round dog friendly beach. Great views of the Isles of Shoals, Whaleback Ledge Light, and Portsmouth Harbor.
