I am so upset with the staff at Linda’s Hallmark Shop! I purchased a $ 5 birthday card for my dad’s 70th birthday. It was cute – had a recorded message when you opened it. Anyhow, I took the card home and wrote, «Happy 70th!!» Then below that I signed my name. But, when I signed my name, the ink from the line above smeared all over the place! I went back to the store to exchange the card. The staff and manager chastised me because I hadn’t had the foresight to «blow» on the ink from the first line so that it would dry. Why would I need to assume that I needed to let the ink dry before continuing to the second line? Isn’t Hallmark one of the top producers of cards in the world? Wouldn’t they know that certain types of card surfaces don’t accept normal ink from a pen? And why were the employees so ugly about it?!? I’ve purchased cards and gifts from Linda’s Hallmark Shop for years. They won’t ever see another dime from me.

If you need to buy a card. This is the place I like to go. Any Occasion. They also have an assortment of other things like apparel, jewelry, and household decorative items. Sign up for their Hallmarks Rewards card and they send you all sorts of postcards with $ 5 or $ 10 dollars off here or there. Also ask for the Hallmark gold stickers when you check out.

Cards Galore! The selection is mind boggling. Far superior to any other store, such as CVS, Walgreens or Kroger. As expected. After all, that’s what Hallmark is all about! They have tons of other tcha-tchkas, too. Precious Moments. Little crystal mementos. Albums and other miscellaneous gift items. Cutesie stuff. I just go for the cards because they have everything, including, «The special man in my life» whereas most other places just have«Husband.» Well, gee, we aren’t all married, now are we?
