Can the Owner of the Pizza Inn please check on the employee we saw using drugs outside your restaurant.
Yesterday evening I went with my fiancé and his mother out to dinner. She wanted seafood and he wanted pizza. We went to this Pizza Inn and he asked if we’d be able to get shrimp on a margarita type pizza for the future MIL. He was told no seafood options were available.
OK, a stretch in TN I guess but we still had to eat.
He parked in a free space out back and I looked up other places to go eat. This took a while to find a Japanese place off Kingston Pike.
We were about to pull forward when my fiancé saw a worker he had seen inside Pizza Inn. She was out back now and clearly using drugs. We all think the owners or hiring folks should know that this is going on. My fiancé drove close enough to see she was a shorter lady with dark hair, a bit heavy set and looked like she needed help. She was pretty sweaty looking from what we could see and I could make out a name tag part way Sar…
She should be getting help for drug use. Glad we were going to eat some where else last night. Pray she gets help.

This was my first time to pizza inn and it was fabulous the food was great the pizza was fresh and delicious so was the sweet tea like really good!!! The service was fantastic my server was Emily she wears tan straps that way you know who she is. Emily is fantastic so nice and caring. If you like pizza buffets then please go to this one I don’t think you will be disappointed!!!

I love this place !!! Pizza is really good, i love the salad bar !!! I also love the support in other businesses that is laid out on table, great marketing tool to see who is who and where !! I always come here for the vegetarian pizza. I been here 3 times and this pizza is always my Favorite never fails!!!

It is a pizza buffet, so do not expect a culinary wonder. That being said, this is an exceptional pizza buffet. The selection was great, the pizza was hot and fresh and they would make whatever you requested. So as far as pizza buffets go, this beats the others in the area hands down.

When it comes to a pizza buffet this one is the best hands down. Every time I come here the food is hot and fresh. They will make custom pizzas of you want.

As pizza buffet restaurants go this is one of the best. Their variety of pizza on the buffet covers something for everyone– they even have two different kinds of crust. The service has always been top notch. This is a large place so there are usually tables available. Great place to take a large group as there will be something to please everyone. If there’s not, they will make any type of pizza you request. Very reasonable prices, too.

Good food typical of your average pizza buffet, but what is beyond average is the fact that they make food to order for you. I have had bariatric surgery and hate buffets because I cannot eat much. They provided me a discount AND made me a special crustless pizza when they saw I wasn’t eating the crusts! Our server was so nice and the value is certainly there.

Positives: They have three crust options, including the delicious Italian style, with garlic butter brushed into the outer edge of crust and folded over. If you do not see what you want on the buffet, they will cook to order any pizza you like, as well as nuggets or other things that sometimes come and go in the salad bar. I love to order the veggie plus pineapple on Italian crust. They totally allow you to take a doggy bag home, literally of crusts for our dogs! Their staff is friendly (especially a young woman named Ashley), courteous, and super attentive. Their price is fine. Yes, it is more expensive than C.C.‘s, but the quality of pizza is better, and the staff is much more friendly and helpful than at C.C.‘s, where we have not only had a harder time getting what we wanted, but also had one employee get entirely too personal, knocking my husband for liking Jeff Gordon (a few years ago), insinuating it was funny because Gordon had something vaguely like the gay flag colors on his car. Craig let the ass know that indeed we were a gay couple, etc.
Negatives: Their meaty ingredients are greasy, sometimes throwing off the taste of some of their pizzas (my husband, Craig, tells me). They do not have a deep-​dish option. Also, they are confused as to Chicago versus New York style crusts, offering a thicker one as «New York style,» and the *thinnest* one as «Chicago Style!» That is a huge, glaring error for a place to not know the actual known and culturally expected variations in their own product. Also, since they are owned by a devout Christian, they play Christian Contemporary for their background music, plus devote one television screen to ads, including hegemonic ones about some people being lost and needing saved, but they mean in the metaphysical sense. But the music is not overly loud, and there are other things to look at besides the one advertising t.v. Frequently, especially in the Winter, they keep it far too cold even for me, and I am hot-​natured. Apparently they want you to eat just enough before succumbing to the cold, so you leave! Last, they leave their televisions on either news or sports, neither of which one can easily see from more than a few feet away, and with the sound turned down too low to hear. And I don’t care about sports, so having a television there is for me pointless.

Strengths:
Great pizza and even better service. Buffett offered a variety. Always clean.

Great pizza! Lots of choices! Way better than CiCi’s…affordable prices! The variety they have here is awesome. give it a shot! The wait staff are very friendly and they are ready to make any kind if pizza you want on the bar.

Have visited twice. Good pizza for a buffet. Fresh and they keep a good selection available at all times. Price is pretty good and the service is good.

Super busy all of the time… but super gross! They keep rolling out pizza’s as fast as a person can eat them, but they are flavorless and cheap. Your stomach will love you if you don’t stop here.

No more Cici’s. Everything is much better here. They put up more varieties of pizza’s and a bigger better salad bar. Monday’s seniors only $ 4.99 and 10% off always.

I rate on my personal experience and pizza kitchen is always clean they have a family friendly staff and stand out as the best pizza buffet in the Knoxville area and unlike other well known pizza places around here they take plastic for payment. Keep up the great work Pizza Inn. :)

Best buffet pizza around and almost any combination of toppings you can think of. Try the loaded bake potato pizza and the chocolate chip pizza that’s my favorites!

This certainly isn’t gourmet or wood fired pizza by any means, but Pizza Inn does a good job delivering a decent product. Their pizzas are as good as or better than most delivery chains, and they have some unique combinations and dessert pizzas that cannot be found anywhere else.
I recommend eating there only for the buffet, however. I absolutely DO NOT advise picking up your food to go. Why not? Because it seems to go orders are not usually consistent with the pizzas they dish out on the buffet. For some reason they do not make the pizzas consistently the same way and you could end up with missing ingredients or a different tasting pizza than what you experienced in the restaurant.
The buffet has a decent salad and pasta bar as well and is definitely worth the price!

Definitely prefer the pizza here to Cici’s. This place draws a good crowd in so the pizza is pretty fresh.
Tons of pizza variety here. Loved the bacon cheeseburger pizza with mustard. Other cool varieties — bacon and potato, buffalo chicken, bbq chicken, spinach alfredo, hawaiian, and pineapple upside down cake dessert pizza. (Yeah I took notes on this. Whatever.)
The non-​pizza foods like the pasta aren’t too good, but why waste your time with that stuff?

Went here on Sunday while visiting friends in TN. I love pizza & this was great! We don’t have anything like this in MA (north shore) that I am aware of. You could order a special pizza & your waiter would bring it right to you. You could take what you wanted & the rest would go out to the buffet for others to try. Pineapple upside down cake pizza loved, loved, loved!

Horrible, it makes cici’s seem like the orangery still. At first it seemed that Pizza Inn could have just been having a difficult start up… no, its just terrible. Loud atmosphere and sticky gross tables and bar. The pizza is just not good. Its warm… not hot… and very processed tasting.
