I love Rala! You need to do some gift shopping? Come here. You want to buy something for yourself? You will find something you think you have to have in here. It is the perfect place to pick up unique & affordable locally-​crafted products for your home or for gifts. Candles, jewelry, art prints, canvas bags, soaps, greeting cards, t-​shirts, Tennessee-​shaped jigsaw puzzles, coffee mugs — it is like a hipster Hallmark and I mean that in the best possible way. Plus, feel good about pushing some cash into the pockets of local crafty business-​folk.

I love little Rala! It is the cutest shop Knoxville has to offer! This place is great for visitors to stock up on Tennessee and Knoxville gifts, but as a local I CANNOT go to market square and not stop in here. Even if it takes me 15 minutes to read through all the cards to not buy one haha. I do love purchasing cards here, they are adorable and unique. The Last card I bought was for a friend living a few states over that read «some one in Knoxville loves you.» And of course for the boyfriend «Even though your taste in music is horrible I still love you.» They have Stay at home club shirts and patches and of course Dolly Parton shirts. WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED? But really though?

Very cool place. I was particularly impressed with how nice the staff was. Genuinely pleasant.
This is a tiny little shop but it seems like every single item in it can only be found there. The stuff is quirky, funny, irreverent — all the things that make a shop like this really worth stopping in.
Only bought a t-​shirt but I really like the art. If the subject matter had resonated slightly more, I’d have been leaving with a painting.

Whenever I’m back home, Rala is one of my first stops. It is by far my favorite store in Market Square. The owners do a fabulous job of finding creative, attractive products from local artisans that appeal to a wide range of tastes. I love their t-​shirt collection– it rivals some of the best shops in Brooklyn. The staff is always friendly and ready to answer any question. To me, Rala epitomizes why shopping local is great– you get unique products while supporting a Knoxville business.

LOCAL LOCAL LOCAL! This is one of my favorite shops in Knoxville! Rala showcases regionally made goods ranging from greeting cards to screen printed tshirts to jewelry to toiletries! This is my go-​to place for gifts for everyone I know! I would gladly pay a little more for things when I know that they are made just down the road by a person and not somewhere manufactured.
The selection is great and always changing and the girls that work in the shop are always sweet and helpful without being pushing.
