Tried to buy earrings here for my cartilage piercing. I spoke to 3 people that didn’t know what they were doing and the 4th person wanted to stretch my piercing and wouldn’t sell me any size smaller than a 16G. I’ll stick to my tattoo shop back home that will sell me the size earring I want.

I had a tattoo done here back in 2010. I just want to report how it’s held up. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s a really simple piece(a stylized version of my mom’s name, I got it shortly after she died to commemorate her). The coloration has still stayed as solid as you can expect, and it still reflects what I thought was a job well done by the artist. In retrospect, the some of the kerning and letter sizing is just the tiniest bit off, but it’s a really small thing and not something you’d notice unless you we’re really inspecting it every single day. I’d recommend checking them out if you’re in the La Crosse area and looking for a new tat. Their prices are reasonable(or at least they were when I got the tattoo, no idea if that’s changed), the artists are friendly, and the work is pretty good.

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos done here, personally. Both are not done well. One is a large legpiece(the artist was very personable) however did not connect many of the lines and shaded it wrong. At the same time my friend came in to see my tattoo. As son as she came in, the owner was screaming at the receptionist to change the music that was playing, so he did. The owner then screaming approached the receptionist and was screaming yet again about the music, yelling«theres f*cking kids in here!» My friend standing up for the receptionist said«with all do respect, there is a sign stating no kids allowed» at which point the owner got in my friends(18 year old girl waiting to talk to ak artist about getting her own tattoo done) face and screamed at and threatened her as well. Needless to say she didnt get anything done there and never will. My other tattoo was done by an apprentice(they at no point told me the artist was an apprentice, and I had asked him BC I frequented the shop at the time and didn’t recognize him, and he told me he wasn’t), however after going in yet again I was told he was and they would not fix my tattoo that he missed a ton of spots filling in, on a small simple tattoo. My piercer ended up leaving, and therefore so did I. My best friend and sister went in after new management to get piercings by a guy Jacob, who stated he was an apprentice but had been piercing for 8+ years in other states and proceeded to insult all of the other shops. My best friend got a tongue piercing that was so crooked and swollen that he was unable to get it out and was throwing up from all of the pain, had to go to my piercer to have it removes and still has no feeling in the top right tip of his tongue. My sister got her nose pierced by Jacob as well and it was crooked, the ring was too small, and she as well had to go to another shop to have it removed. The only time I have gone in since to a female piercer to remove a microdermal that had rejected(only BC my normal piercer was on vacation) removed it, but refused to do any other piercings I wanted because she ‘didn’t like doing those’, or because she ‘didn’t recommend them’. Generally they are very standoffish and just want you to go in, give them their money, and leave. I’ll never go back. They’ve also quoted me 3x the price all other shops have quoted me for the same tattoo, and all other shops have much more reputable service and experienced artists.

Got my cartilage pierced here when I was 18 by a cool guy named Eric. Very clean environment. Explained the process and care instructions thoroughly. Resonably priced. They also changed out my earring when I bought a new one there. Haven’t taken it out in three years.
