A great place! Try going to their art festival in June.

Very pleased with our visit to Rosemont! Only a little over an hour from Raleigh, closer than some of the NC wineries! From the start when you drive up the place is beautiful. Very well kept grounds and friendly service. The tasting was well worth the charge. The biggest plus for me was that while there was some sweet wine, it was not all sweet wines. The view from the second floor patio is spectacular. Good amount of parking, clean restroom, AC inside for hot summer days. My only suggestion would be for them to put outdoor ceiling fans on the outdoor patio. Little gift shop with your average winery goods. We visited as part of an anniversary celebration and will most definitely visit again.

Bored silly with the drive from NYC, when I spotted a sign for Rosemont along the highway I yelled«Stop!!» This is a picturesque vineyard with a lovely tasting room. And at $ 5 for eleven pours, it doesn’t break the bank to stop. There were several wines I particularly liked, so an hour later, we left with half a dozen bottles. Friendly proprietor, a good place to stretch one’s legs … check it out!

This has got to be my least favorite Winery in all of VA. The only thing worse than their wines, is their customer service.

Had a great time here today with friends. The wine tasting was excellent. Brought home a couple of our favorites. Staff was friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and would recommend this to anyone visiting in the area.

Being out of nowhere, this is the only winery around town. i guess coming from California, this is no where in comparison to Napa Valley or Sonoma. Sorry, but if you’re in the area and want to do some wine tasting I’d recommend it. The red wine was good. although I was shocked when I asked if they had Pinot Noir and they asked what? But overall, not bad. I haven’t tried the white wine so I can’t comment on that. They do have cheese and etc. that they sell so you can have a little picnic outside or sit inside since it’s so damn hot outside! Also, they have weddings out here which was cute. The only bad thing is the beat up barn in the background. Other than that it was a nice venue given the location. Also, parking is limited to one lot.

It can be difficult to find, so be sure to have a GPS! A privately owned vineyard and winery, with a restaurant. Wine tasting for a small fee. Try their pinot. You can order bottles online at their web site, just come and pick it up! Restaurant has limited choices, but the custom-flavored local cuisine is delicious.

Great winery and awesome owners! I loved the Cab Franc(alot), but unfortunately it doesn’t come out if you get some on your khaki suit. They do Virginia wines proud and it’s definitely worth the trip!

Oasis in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Nice farm… seem like good farmers and people knowledgeable about wine. As far as the wines… the sweet whites ar very good and inventive. They include a La Crosse. 15% alcohol… naturally… pretty cool and interesting. Otherwise, I don’t really like their wines. Its the best out there, even if there were others, it probably would be, but its really it for miles and miles. The whites are not so flavorful or complex, and the reds lack depth. But they know what they are doing, I think, and I believe that they are on the right track for what they want… which is deep, bold, French reds. The grapes are growing, the blend and season just needs more… possibly a good deal more, but the place itself is not bad, just needs work on nothing except for the depth of the wines.
