Wonderful place! We were headed for Rocky’s for Prime Rib, but they were closed for family wedding. Got on Unilocal and found Timmers! Glad we did! Great food! My friend had Prime rib and he said it was good, pricey, but good. Our waitress was wonderful. Food came fast. Salad bar was adequate and asparagus soup was wonderful. I had fish tacos and they were great!
Nice place to eat! Tried a new beer. DTB Pearl Brewery. Excellent! We will go back!

Timmers brings back a great place to be to the south side of La Crosse. Stop in and try their food, they really have stepped up the game and brought a fresh look to a roadside bar and grill. All of the meats are fresh from a local meat market and cooked to your specs.
The staff is friendly, even when they are busy. They have the good sense to make sure each customer is having a great time.
The place has been remodeled and has a great open seating concept, where no matter how many people are in the place it isn’t packed. It is very clean as well!
Cheers for keeping the tradition going and here’s to many years to come of successful business.

Food is excellent. We have tried the fish tacos, pizza, pulled pork sandwich, wings, and cheese curds. Not all on the same visit of course. The insides are nice and open. Service was good. Beach volleyball courts and a basketball hoop outside. Arcade games near the entrance. Family friendly.

Very impressed with the Prime Rib sandwich I had last night. Prime rib was seasoned perfect and whatever kind of bread they had it on made it even better. I had a side of chili and it had a little tang to it that I couldn’t quite place, but it was excellent.
My wife had batterfried fish and she enjoyed it very much.
We tried the Pigs Ears appetizer and somehow I was pleasantly surprised and how tasty they were. Although once is enough for me. I’ll stick to the boneless chicken wings. They were fresh and came with a great Parmesan Ranch sauce. Would have liked more of the sauce, so I may recommend getting a little bit on the side.
We will definitely be back.

Came here on recommendation by my cousin, so glad I listened to him! Everything we tried was great from cheese curds to sweet chili, burgers, Mini corn dogs, fish tacos and chicken! I am only visiting for another week and I’m trying to figure out how many more times I can get there!

Stopped on our way home from the shop for some lunch and a drink. I had the Cajun steak wrap, which was nothing like you’d expect at a bar/​restaurant. Lots of steak, not overly full of lettuce like you’ll usually find, and great flavor between the Cajun seasoned steak and the other ingredients. My wife had her usual, a blt, and was pleasantly surprised by the bbq mayonnaise.
10⁄10 will definitely return

Really good food.
Nice clean place.
Super friendly staff who really care about their customers.
So far i’ve had the bbq pork sandwich and the fish tacos. Both are great choices!
I’m trying the burgers next time. They looked HUGE and appear to be freshly hand made.
They have a small variety of beers, and a couple good ones on tap. I would give 5 stars if the craft beer selection was a bit better.
Overall, I really like this place and look forward to eating here again.
