I have to give credit where credit is due. I’ve never felt that the repair man were necessarily at the top of their game. But the service department will go out of its way to help you resolve any issues. My double Electrolux oven is broken and today is the day before Thanksgiving. The repair man looked at it last week, and after just watching it for several hours, decided that it needed a totally new control board. Between you and me I don’t think that that was the problem, but you don’t get to argue with a repair man. From my experience in sales and service at IBM, I know that sometimes the easiest thing to do is to just start swapping out pieces. That is sometimes more cost effective than fixing the real problem. Anyway, the piece came in on Friday, but it was unclear as to when the repair man thought that he could install it. When I talked to the woman in the service department yesterday, she took my comment seriously and swore to do everything in her power to make sure that the piece was install today, the day before Thanksgiving. I am eternally grateful to that woman. And I remain a faithful Wettsteins customer.

I’m entering my junior year at UW-L and have personally bought from wettsteins twice. After my first year of college, I entered this store looking for a mattress to live off campus. I was taken to a back room where mattresses were cheap and stiff(slightly offended then). I proceeded to walk toward the main show room of mattresses, laid on a few, and said ‘I want this one’. He thought I was kidding because I was an 18 year old wanting to buy a 1200 dollar mattress for 600 bucks. Besides the two inch foam topper being a little hot in the summer, I LOVE my bed. I’m so glad I made this purchase. Delivery was free & they were very communicative even when I wasn’t in LAX(I was at home in mke). Near the end of my second year, I sent two of my roommates to him. They each bought one luxury bed, including their custom bed frames and their non allergy covers. They got an awesome deal from Jan(who I purchased mine from) and both got free deliveries as well. we live in a vintage house with a narrow stair case and the men managed to carry them upstairs! After that, Jan gave me a good discount on a customized bed frame! He handed me 20+ dollars of HIS money in cash so that he could give me the quoted price. I’m constantly trying to send business to them– seeing as me and my roommates are happy with all their products and their awesome delivery staff.

Delayed product delivery by a week, making it 9 weeks, by not ordering and paying distributor for a week. I’ve live in major metros and every appliance I bought was delivered free, and that was after being able to negotiate the price. Not so with these guys. A truck full comes to Winona on Friday and everyone get a COD for $ 42.24. The distance is 28 miles of little traffic, rather than 28 miles of freeway, stoplights, and traffic grid, where delivery is free. I’m done with local suppliers. When will they understand why people end up at big box stores. Two stars only because salesman was a great guy!
