I can see why there’s a Walgreens at just about every corner, they know their stuff! My meds have always been able to be filled in a reasonable amount of time, and when I had to start taking Synthroid (thyroid med) the pharmacist made it a point to tell me how to take this med — which is important for proper absorption of this med!
Prices of the other items inside can be a bit pricey, so be sure to pay attention to their circular. You can also get better deals sometimes if you’re carrying your member card on you… Or if you key in your phone number at checkout (which is what I do!)
Another plus about Walgreens is that if you’re traveling and need a prescription refilled, you can get it filled at the closest Walgreens to you! Your info is already in their system! Talk about a sigh of relief! (I’ve had a doctor call in a few days of med before when I forgot mine to the nearest Walgreens as well!)

Just found out that Walgreens will now require a card to get special prices. I hate to have to carry a card for a place to shop so I guess I won’t be shopping here anymore. I will not shop at a place that requires a card.
