This is not your basic grocery store, it is the grocery outlet! So just as one would only find limited items at a clothing outlet, there are only limited items here. But what they do have here seems to be at really good prices. I normally buy the blue bag of burritos for anywhere close to 4.00 a bag and they have them here for 2.99. I bought some cereal but there are limited choices but the prices are good. They have a display of dried fruit and nuts which had a lot of different choices to choose from including dried kiwi which was the most interesting item I saw and one day will try. They had some good trail mixes that I purchased a few times. Their meat in the meat section looks fresh. I bought chicken that cooked up well a few days ago and today I purchased corned beef. They even have an alcohol section, in which I got a bottle of lemon drop martini for $ 2.99, and they have local beers for sale for a dollar cheaper such as bootlegger brewery beer. They also have a pretty large selection of wines. I have found that when I’m not looking for specific brands or food items that this is a great grocery store to stop at. Plus it’s not packed like Walmart or albertsons and the prices are cheaper. It is also conveniently on my way home. Only thing is that I wished they had lactose free milk because then I wouldn’t have to go to another store ever… Maybe one day. Great addition to Whittier/la Habra/la Mirada area!

OMG y’all, this place is GREAT. Clean space, great prices, non-wilted produce and a good selection of name brand and organic healthy stuff in one store. Finally, a place where I can actually do my shopping without going to two or three stores(I’m looking at you, Trader Joe’s). Where can you find Tombstone mini pizzas for $ 1.99AND shelled hemp seeds? Right here, baby. Those $ 5 pre-made salads? Try $ 5 for TWO.

At first sight looks like a nice clean place. Good employees but Owner arrogant. I even called a few friends until I went to pay @ checkout. I bought 8 bento boxes labeled at $ 6.99 each. when they rang it came to $ 7.99(not a big deal $ wise) however the attitude of the owner ticked me off. When brought to her attention that the price marked was different and since it’s the stores mistake they shld consider charging me what’s on the label. And she said ‘no it’s not the stores mistake’. And walked out from there, the arrogance is what will refrain me from going there again. Not that the other prices are slashed greatly — and it’s random so sometimes if you are looking for something in particular u may not even find it. go there if you willing to compromise on things u are actually looking for doesn’t matter and don’t argue with the Owner — she doesn’t care to listen /help.

Grocery Outlet is finally open! I just got home from their grand opening and I really liked it. Of course, parking was a little difficult(there really aren’t too many spots, sadly) but the location is great. It used to be a Fresh And Easy, right at the corner of Beach Blvd and Whittier Blvd. It’s not as large as a regular grocery store, but they have the basics. You will find popular brands and then the off brands you would see at stores like Big Lots and Dollar Tree. I just recently shopped at Target for groceries so I wasn’t technically looking for anything in particular. I was worried that it would be sort of ghetto and gross, but it was very clean, organized, and everything was well-stocked. I found a few things I was looking to buy, like almond milk coffee creamer, turkey bacon, frozen hash browns, and ground beef from Harris Ranch(A very good steak restaurant North of L.A.)! What I loved is they have lots of healthy food: sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, meat-free, etc. I’m not a huge health nut, but I was impressed with the selection. I found these great face masks that are originally $ 15, but were down to about $ 3. Not sure if they’re really that great, but I was pretty excited about finding it! Their hair and body product section is pretty cool, they have big brands like Pantene and I even found my favorite Tom’s fluoride-free toothpaste there for a great price! Since I «liked» them on Facebook, I got a free reusable grocery bag with my purchase. The staff there are great, pretty much everyone who worked there greeted me or asked if I needed help looking for anything. Checkout was quick and no-fuss. Loved the store, I’ll be sure to go back when I need to go on another grocery run.

I found out about this store through the La Habra Chamber of Commerce. When I went in I saw that they have great prices and the produce looked very fresh. It’s on my way home so I will be shopping here often… which reminds me, I’m out of mustard.

Unilocal challenge 2016: 025⁄365 New sprouts like market xhain opened in la habra. Organic markets dont do well in this side of town evidenced by the prior buisness along with northgate moving into the same plaza and a very nice albertsons across the street. One thing for sure is the lines wont be long!!! And hopefully the produce and fruits are always fresh.
