I found Chara designs at a conference… our vendor table was next to Sherry’s clothing racks for two days. I tried very hard to resist one of her beautiful, ultra-​feminine panchos. Instead, I went home with two pieces – one each day. Her clothing looks much more expensive than it is – they’re very reasonably priced, and I’ve worn both of them multiple times. I love knowing that she made them by hand.

Holy tie Dye shirts! Holy mumus! Chara presents an array of baggy, hippie, and whimsical clothes. A bit eccentric, a bit passé, and very much idiosyncratic: that’s what the apparel selection is about. If grandma’s in town and scouting an ample linen outfit, take her there.
