My fiancée and I went for a couples massage on the last day of our vacation here. It was an amazing experience. The massage studio itself was very warm and cozy. The tables were comfortable and the music was relaxing.
Bella is a very talented therapist. She used the perfect amount of pressure and paid a lot of attention to my sore/tight spots. Angie was great as well. She was especially very patient and courteous when helping me book and then change our appointment multiple times. Overall we had a great experience and left our massages feeling incredibly relaxed.

Angie is so friendly and personable. My wife and I scheduled a couple’s massage today and everything was as smooth as could be. The chocolate covered strawberries and champagne were such a great way to start and relax into the massage itself. Both Angie and Antoinette were consummate professionals who definitely knew what they were doing. My wife and I were left thoroughly relaxed and we will absolutely be making return visits!

We got the couples massage here which was fantastic. The girls are great. Very nice. The place was very relaxing and was just what we needed. The spot was right in La Jolla off the street. The massages were a great price and they came with champagne or sparkling cider and chocolate covered strawberries. Can’t beat that! The massage itself was fantastic and they let you hang out in the room and enjoy the champagne after your massage. All in all, I would recommend this place!

This massage place was so inviting and relaxing. Love the white modern yet calming décor. My hubby and I had a couples massage which started with a 10 minute foot soak which felt amazing! While we were soaking our feet we enjoyed a glass of champs and chocolate dipped strawberries. On to the best part… the massages were awesome and by the time we left all the links were worked out and we were so chill. The owner Angie is so sweet. Would go back once a week if I could!

I left in absolute bliss!
I purchased a couples massage for my girlfriend and I as a Christmas gift. We were greeted warmly by Angie and Maureen, and got to enjoy champagne and chocolate covered strawberries before our massage. They were both great at customizing our experiences. My deep tissue felt incredible, and left my muscles happily sore the next day. My girlfriend has a shoulder injury, and they were mindful of it and worked around the area.
I would highly recommend this place as either a solo, or couples massage! It was a great experience with mindful therapists who made us feel welcomed and at home. I hope to be back sometime soon!

My husband and I did a couples massage for our anniversary and it was wonderful. Bella did a prenatal massage on me and it was amazing! She did the perfect amount of pressure and it felt so good on my tired pregnant body :) My husband had Akiko do his massage and he thought she did a great job as well. I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often to get massages here!

Angie was very prompt to respond to my call. I booked a massage with her and Kim (facial).
Angie was a great therapist. She definitely worked out the areas I needed work on. I appreciate her soft voice for asking certain questions and not talking, these days some therapist talk too much! I will definitely return for a session with Angie.
Kim on the other hand, was so enjoyable. We talked skin care half of the session and the rest was all relaxing. Her bed was so comfy, I didn’t want to leave! My own bed isn’t even that cozy. I get facials every single season change and this is the best facial I’ve ever had! Kim is my new go to esthetician. She’s amazing.
I got the hydrafacial, my skin looked so plump after and felt so clean.
The strawberries and champagne were definitely a nice touch.

My husband and I were in San Diego for our 10 year anniversary, and wanted to get a couples massage. We looked at all the local resorts and hotels and who knew that a day getting massages would cost close to our mortgage payment! Ridiculous! So I headed to Unilocal and found Angie’s place– Great Massage La Jolla. We were so pleased with our couples massage here. We had a bit of trouble finding the place, but if we paid attention, we would have seen the sign in the window with an arrow to the door. The massage was relaxing, not rushed and it was nice to relax for a few minutes afterward and enjoy our sparkling drink and chocolate covered strawberries. Of course you cannot beat the price, BUT it really was top-notch service that can’t be beaten. Thank you again!!!

I booked a couples massage for today with my husband. We arrived a little early they greeted us. Angie was very nice and pleasant. The place was very cleaned and smelled very nice. No A/C but I didn’t need it. It was definitely very comfortable. We had champagne with chocolate covered strawberries. Yum yum! The massage was amazing she asked me if I need any specific pressure or any certain part of my body. Which I didn’t but she was awesome! I will definitely be going back. oh and my husband was very pleased!

Having had massages from Hong Kong to London to California, I can safely say that Angie is one of the best I have experienced. She has excellent technique, customizes each session to what you need, and I’ve found that the effects of her massages last longer. Considering myself somewhat of a spa freak, I stumbled upon Angie after several failed therapist attempts in the San Diego area. She is absolutely unbelievable and does amazing work! From a deep tissue massage that really gets the kinks out, to a relaxing Sweedish style massage, Angie hands down takes the prize for «Best Massage San Diego.»

I rarely post reviews but couldn’t help myself this time.
Great Massage should be called BEST MASSAGE EVER.
I’ve treated myself to monthly massages for the last several years and had some «eh» massages but could never quite commit to anyone specific so I would use Groupons to try new people without breaking the bank. A couple years ago, I found Angie and haven’t used anyone else since.
She’s amazing and obviously really has a passion for what she does and will listen to you to quickly find the perfect level of pressure for your body.
On top of her incredible massage skills, she is also one of the nicest people you will meet with a great sense of humor. I won’t go to anyone else — I wholeheartedly recommend her.
