Jack in The Box

Hm.
Drove 20 mins to get my pregnant friend some curly fries. First of all, no drive thru? Denied. Second, they closed 15 MINUTES EARLY. Neat.
Jack would not be happy.

Open 6a-​12 midnight, lotsa space inside & outside (with overhang), breakfast served all day, what’s not to like? Service was friendly & quick. They were able to customize my order (I don’t eat dairy) and the cashiers all had smiles. Plus, the food was well prepared & tasted good. No lopsided burgers and limp fries. Location is convienent and, despite the creepy «Jack» pictures on the walls, I’m a fan.

It really sucks to not see a drive thru at this location, especially when you dont have much time. Although the burger and fries were not bad at all unlike many few other jacks I’ve been to… although the drive thru is not available… thank god for the food… I will return!

We had a great experience tonight. I have been to Jack In The Box tons of times and haven’t really been that impressed with much. Tonight was different, this establishment was clean and organized. Justin helped us and he had EXCELLENT customer service. Justin had a smile on his face the entire time and a positive attitude. Jack should be proud to have him on his team. I ordered and Jumbo Jack with Cheese and it actually tasted good. Thanks for the yummy food and great costumer service.

This is the nicest Jack in the Box I have yet visited. The manager, Susan, was very pleasant and helpful. If you’re walking through the beach town of La Jolla, it’s worth the extra steps to go there. It’s inexpensive and decent quality, as well.

No drive thru buuuut fast service, clean establishment, and my sandwich looked like it came out of a television. Best jack in the box experience I’ve had yet. I was happy. I like being happy. Thanks jack in the box.

Yes no drive thru, but we ate inside. It was 10p on a weeknight and a couple of parties eating inside. The guy behind the counter could have been a bit more friendly to us, but whatever.
Given that it wasn’t busy, the tables were dirty. Another boo boo on Jack’s part.
On a positive note, the tacos were crunchy (surprisingly) and not stale and had a lot of sauce.
Tacos and Diet Dr. Pepper…
These make me happy after a night full of drinking debauchery.

This place does not have a drive thru!
I came here one morning because I was starving before work, so I thought «I’m going to just hit up the drive thru and head back to work so I can get there on time.»
Nope! I was late to work and the food was nasty! Everything seemed to be extra greasy. I actually got sick off of it.
The flavored ice tea is disgusting! They get a cup, put syrup in it and then rudely tell you to get your own ice and iced tea. They put way too much syrup that I ended up dumping it and getting soda (which I rarely ever drink).
I think the only things that were good are the mini pancakes and their new soft mini cookies. I love their buttermilk sauce but it has just as many calories as a Jumbo Jack! That’s a big downer!
I don’t think I will ever come back to this Jack in the Box.

Who doesn’t like 2 tacos for $.99? My husband, but hey, he can have the $ 1 chicken sandwich. I’ll stop by JITB on the way home when we’re too lazy to cook and too cheap to spend money. I often get coupons in the mail, so you can’t get any cheaper than that for dinner!
This JITB does not have a drive through, but parking is always ample and the wait isn’t too long. They do have kiosks to order food yourself, but there’s never more than one person ahead of me so I always order at the counter. The staff here is friendly, but I do agree that I could get my order faster… but I guess that just means they are cooking it made to order.
Don’t forget to ask for buttermilk ranch to go with that $ 1 chicken sandwich… yum.

I’m a fan of ANY Jack in the Box, let’s be honest.
This particular one happens to be the closest to where I live, but it’s still a pain in the ass to get to, since I have to drive through pretentious La Jolla… and pass right between the Ferrari and Maserati dealerships… in my dusty mom car… but when I finally get there, it feels like home.

Super clean restaurant but super slow service…
I’ve been here a few times before and it’s not that bad…
It’s easy to get to and parking is plentiful…
Only problem, they have some pretty slow service… I believe it took us about 10 minutes to get our food after we ordered it… Not that good for a fast food joint… They also do not have a drive-​thru window which I feel is pretty strange… oh well…
Anyways, this place ain’t that bad… If you’re feenin for some JITB, check this place out… only problem is that you’ll probably have to wait a lil longer than what you’re used to…

Okay giving this a 5 star review even though I didn’t get anything to eat here. I needed to go to the bathroom really, really, badly and it was the closest place I could go to without seeing a «restaurant for customers only» sign.
This was the CLEANEST Jack in the Box that I have ever seen in my life and the parking lot was fairly large (I think). Even the 1 person bathroom was super clean.
I also liked all the silly posters of Jack!
Interesting group of people here. This is where you really do see a mix of EVERYONE in La Jolla. I saw wealthy people, drunks of all classes, and poor people. This is just like Los Angeles where I live! Reminds me of home!

I go here because I work in the area. If I dont have time to make breakfast I head over here. I only been here for breakfast
The first thing I thought was odd was there wasn’t any drive through. The do have 2 electronic order kiosks but it seems a little area to have them there. I haven’t used them because there is always someone to help me first.
The food is the same great taste. There is always a morning crowd here. Also there is an outside sitting area but i noticed the homeless all hang out there.
When they call my order they use my first name. I dont know if that’s old or not but I haven’t been to jack in the box in a year or so. Nice place for breakfast.

Hands down, consistently the best Jack in the Box I’ve ever gone to where the food is hot, dining area is clean and staff is nice.
I usually stop at this particular JINTB (hehe) on my way to have my locks redid. This last time around clinched it. I ordered the Cibatta burger small combo and waited. Coming through the doors was a mix of bohemiam beach types, cute elderly couples and 10 yr rug rats too far away from their parents.
My order arrived hot, and seriously it was the best burger out of a fast food chain of this type. The bread was toasted perfectly, the patties were hot and juicy. The fries were perfect as well.
