I like the service here. Just try and avoid this location around lunch time during the week. Because the students are here ordering it up. It will take u at least a half hour to get your drink. Make sure to use your Von’s rewards card! I ordered 4 drinks and only had to pay for 3 thanks to the rewards card!!!

This is my least favorite Jamba Juice to visit in ALL of San Diego. The service here is not good by any standards. The customer service is awful and the waits are ridiculous. I’m not an impatient person, but waiting for over 20 minutes just to order and get your drink is absurd.

I love Jamba Juice and the smoothies, but the service at this location is horrible. There were 2 customers in front of me who were waiting: One was waiting to order and the other was waiting for her order. There was only one person working who did not even acknowledge me or the other person waiting in front of me to order. It appeared as if she was possibly ignoring us until she was finished with whatever she was doing. Another employee finally came inside(he must have been on lunch?) and helped the customer in front of me first, and then me. I was probably waiting a good 10 minutes before he took my order. I understand being busy, but when you have customers forming a line to order, the customers should be taken care of first before cleaning the blenders and whatever else needs to get done. Or at least an acknowledgement would have improved the experience a tad, but not by much.

Jamba Juice smoothies are yummy… my favorite is Mango Mantra. This particular store, however, is infamous for the massive wait the employees always seem to create. I’ve considered the fact that many La Jollans have higher standards(and some might even say impossible expectations) but never have I seen my fellow neighbors employ so much restraint. Yes some become visibly irritated but, maybe due to politeness, never speak up and complain about the ridiculous amount of time these people take to blend a frozen drink. All I can think is these employees must be conducting some sort of social experiment to determine just how long one will wait for a smoothie. Every time I’ve been to this particular location, the peeps behind the counter take a RIDICULOUSLY long time to get going… after they take your money that is. The wait easily averages 20 minutes and all the ingredients are pre-prepared…all they do is measure into a pitcher and pop it under the blending thingy. I’ve watched fellow customers walk away empty handed without even asking for a refund… ah, maybe that’s the their strategy. If you want a quick snack… this is not the location to go. Speed it up JJ employees… it’s not rocket science!
