An absolutely stunning display of antique maps. I came here(twice) while on vacation last June and found the collection engrossing. Entry is free, so even if you’re just curious it’s worth checking out. Of course, if you’re one of those people who finds himself staring longer than necessary at any map, old or new, you better schedule at least a couple hours. The museum is at the back(north end) of the lower level of the courtyard of the building. Take advantage of this unique gem, the likes of which are difficult to find anywhere, let alone on the West Coast, and especially not for free and open to the public.
