You did an awesome job at our event today! You fed 90 hungry Real Estate Agents quickly and efficiently! You said you were quick and you delivered! Thank you for catering to our budget, meeting dietary restrictions and being easy to work with! I heard nothing but good things about the food. I enjoyed the pesto pizza.

These guys are outstanding! One of the best value priced food trucks in San Diego. The pizza quality is great. Big foldable New-York sized slices. Fresh ingredients, really good chorizo on the Angels pizza. I seek them out for lunch whenever they come to the Navy Hospital at Balboa.(about once every week or 2). Thanks for being there and making a great product.

Not only is the food from this food truck amazing, but so are the people! Pizza Pazza helped cater our Light the Night Against Crime 5k event and we could not have asked for a better experience! The food was amazing-from the fresh and flavorful ingredients to the quality and timely manner that it was served. There was no waiting in crazy lines to fill your appetite; they had the delicious food out almost instantaneously and everything was cooked too perfection! On top of the impeccable food, Mark, Karen, and their staff are amazing! We cannot thank them enough for their kindness, support, professionalism, and for really working with our organization to make sure we had exactly what we needed for our participants. If you are ever looking for a food truck to help cater an event, or just craving a quick and delicious Italian meal, you NEED to try them first. They beyond exceeded our expectations and served hundreds of people without any issues! We will definitely be contacting them for our event next year!

I’m crazy enough to come into work on vacation just to get this pizza… Or maybe it’s just that good! They might have to ban coppa ciao as an addictive substance; it’s simply that good!

What a top-notch food truck! We had a large Father’s Day Festival with Pizza Pazza as one of the star food trucks in attendance. They arrived early; the crew was extremely fast & clean in their set-up and tear-down. The pizza was SOOOOOO delicious! So many varieties to choose – from classic cheese to this amazing Pesto pizza! YUM! All the workers are super nice, courteous to their customers. Will definitely have them back!!!

$ 5 for a single piece of mediocre pizza is not really outrageous. And their pasta is way overcooked, making it feel like you’re chewing rubber. Ughhh. Gross. So not a fan of this truck — there are far better trucks in SD.

One of the best food trucks around! We first saw them at the Escondido Food Truck festival and have been hooked ever since. The owners and staff are super nice and they care about their customers and animals! Love their mascots. Food is amazing!!!

These guys definitely know how to make pizza! I never imagined a pizza food truck. But why not? They have all kinds of food trucks out these days. My employer posted some flyers in our break room saying that Pizza Pazza was going to be at our office today. I looked at the menu on their web site( ) and had my heart set on a slice of the Angel’s Choice pizza. I am so glad that I went with my gut and ordered a slice! Although a tad spicy, it was super delicious. The crust had a nice flavor and was just a tad bit crispy(not over done) which is how I like it. Beyond pizza, they have pasta, sandwiches, calzones, and drinks. Check out their web site to find out where they will be next. Look forward to trying out something new on my next visit!

When it’s really busy at work it’s great to get away and hit one of the local food trucks. I had been craving pizza… so decided to Hit up the Pizza Pazza food truck. Friendly service would rate 5 * but, I have to say I was very disappointed in my food. It’s actually the first bad Food experience I’ve had since I’ve been working at this location in UTC. I ordered the Chicken Stromboli and an arugala salad. The salad was $ 6.00 lots of Arugala, some grated cheese and some grape tomatoes. So I felt it was a lil overpriced. The Chicken Stromboli was SOO dry! It tasted like turkey– not chicken. I was glad I split it with a friend because we were BOTH really disappointed. I had to go get ranch dressing to smother it in… the chicken wasn’t seasoned at all and had NO flavor. I mentioned this to someone in the office and she said it’s a hit or miss thing with them. Again– This rating is NOT for the people– It’s for the food. If I hadn’t gotten the salad. it would have been a 1 or less…

UTC food truck review — I’ve always been skeptical of this food truck because it has one of the ugliest looking graphic designs on a food truck that I’ve ever seen. Anyway, I decided to try this truck out. I noticed that most people in line were ordering huge slices of pie and they were only 5 bucks each. Wow. When it was my turn I ordered a pepperoni slice(it had just came out fresh). — The pepperoni slice(basically a salami slice) had a very strong flavor and was quite greasy compared to the cheap pepperoni at most pizza places. I suspect that they use Volpi pepperoni because I’ve bought that brand at Trader Joes and put on homemade pizza(same strong taste). Anyway, if you like the taste of salami on your pizza than this is terrific. They were also very heavy handed with the pepperoni, which was good too… however… WARNING — Be prepared to bring along a ShamWow to soak up all the orange grease from the pepperoni. Keeping in mind that pretty much every pepperoni slice out there is going to be greasy, this one(pepperoni brand + amount) was quite greasy. — The pizza dough. I like my pizza dough to be on the salty side, and Pizza Pazza has terrific dough. — Value, when you get a big slice for $ 5+ tax you have a great deal for a food truck. Would I come back? Yeah, I will. It’s a good value seeing most trucks in UTC are about $ 10 for a sandwich or burger. I’ll be getting something with less meat next time.

It was a great pleasure working with both Karen and Mark! They respond to emails/phone calls promptly! I had a Birthday Party for my son and there were over 80 people who attended! The party went off without a hitch thanks to Mark’s perfect timing and organization! The food was delicious and very fresh and authentic! I would definitely recommend using them and would hire them again in a second! Thanks Mark and Karen for helping my son’s party be a great success! Andrea Leib

We saw the Pizza Pazza food truck last night for the first time at Santee Salutes & I must admit I was hesitant ordering pie from a truck. I couldn’t have been more wrong. We ordered an 18″ pepperoni pie & a caprese salad. The cook staff was fast & efficient. The prices were a little high, but for the quality of the food, I was happy to pay it. Overall, I give Pizza Pazza five pepperonis.

FOODTOGRAPHER: noun. One who obsessively takes photos of all meals before eating them; promptly posts the photos onto social media sites, ie. facebook, Unilocal, instagram. Includes restaurant and homemade meals.(also see« Unilocal Elite») Well…of all the effing times I did NOT take a picture… $ 5 Mega Slice: It is a BIG slice of pizza, and pretty darn good… BUT there were only FOUR pieces of pepperoni on it. I should’ve taken picture! It looked ridiculous! Better than corporate chain pizza(except Roundtable), but not quite as good as my favorite indy brick’n mortar pizza joints like Luigi’s, Berkeley, and Sicialian Thing. Definitely give Pazza a chance if they’re nearby, the $ 5 Mega Slice is delicious and reasonbly priced. But I might ask how many pepperonis are on it first. :)
