Amazing food and the kind of care about their customers that makes them stand apart. They made a small mistake on a catering order and promptly not only fixed it but went far above and beyond and sent over desserts and extra food! Thank you Sorella and Marianne for making our party a huge hit and for taking good care of us. We will be back soon!

So disappointed! Terrible costumer service. Zero accountability. Nothing is their fault, but sure are quick to charge you before terrible service is given. Too bad, thought more would be delivered.

This place has great lunch deals :) ESPECIALLY for La Jolla. The food is fresh and everyone is friendly. I’ve never been here for dinner but if it’s anything like the lunch than I am definitely missing out.

This place sucks! I was all excited for the delivery of my browine from lucky bolt (a compnay that delivers food in UTC) from this place to only receive a tiny slice of a crusty brownie that cost me almost $ 3.00! It was two bites worth!
Not ordering anymore from here when they are on the lukcy bolt daily menu!

I’ve lived right next to this place for over 4 years but just started going here in the past year. I’ve been missing out!!! The celebrity sandwich is unique and so delicious. Just try it… believe me! Another favorite of mine is the caprese sandwich with prosciutto. So simple and delicious with high quality ingredients. Love this place!

Oh my goodness! It’s true what others are saying here, the celebrity sandwich really is that good! Besides that the roasted tomato and carmelized onions are cooked to perfection, I think its the pesto mayo that makes it stand out. Their soft and fluffy sandwich bread is so friggin’ yummy! I’ve never dined here, but fortunately, Sorella caters to my workplace via LuckyBolt. I’m already looking at the menu again and figuring out what to try next!

After walking by this place a couple of hundred times on my way to the Pannakin I thought I’d give it a try. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. They really make a great sandwich. The bread is really fresh and tasty and they offer a nice selection of sandwiches. My wife really likes their tuna and chicken salad. Now I walk by the Pannakin on my way way to Sorella Della.

Great Italian favorites and sandwiches. Also have flood selection of cakes and baked foods. Celebrity sandwich is bomb.

Very fresh and very delicious! Just a real nice place with a wonderful variety of food and deserts. I had a pastrami sandwich witch was made on a fresh roll and the veggies perfect. I also had the grilled mixed veggies. Superb taste! The lemon bar I had was also baked in house and had it’s own wonderful delightfullness. Thanks for being there!

I often dine at sorella’s. It’s right down the street from me and they have a ton of classic Italian Variety! They always have tons of options for pastas and I love the Pesto Pea Pasta Salad– it’s AMAZING. They have a lot of really good home made pastries and sweets that you can’t really get elsewhere.
Only downside is that if you want hot meal, the microwave your food. I get that everything is pre-​made but I think it would enhance the taste if they invested in a toaster oven or something. For me, it really takes away the quality and taste of a meal if they nuke it right in front of you.
Plus side– it is a very clean, nice and has a feel as you are actuallyeating at a little café, on a side street in Italy.

Great sandwiches! My favorite so far: the celebrity and caprese. Only downside is their hours (not the only downside after eating there a few times). Not open on weekends or nights. Good thing I work only a few blocks away otherwise I would never get to enjoy their delicious food!
I actually decided to switch my 4 stars to 5 because of price. I get a half sandwich and soup for lunch for only $ 5.50! Can’t beat that! Sorry… I had to switch back down to 4 stars because of their waste and microwave use. Everything is served on styrofoam and they microwave all their premade food! I dont even own a microwave at home, I dont pay to eat out and have my food microwaved. You can bypass this by getting a cold sandwich or salad, but it will still be served on styrofoam.

Oh my god– get the Celebrity! WOW– I was seriously so impressed, I’m salivating now just thinking about it.
Sorella is this cute little place I wandered into since I was hungry. Upon asking, I was recommended a Celebrity sandwich– chicken, tomatoes, caramelized onions– which I nabbed with some delicious looking carrot cake slice.
The sandwich itself is really a star! The bread was delectable and warm while the flavors were just so perfect and DANG!!! I would gladly eat it again! One whole sandwich feeds you for two meals– so it’s a good deal too.
The carrot cake was divine– sweet and light, the perfect end to a wonderful sandwich.

I want to make this extremely simple.
This place makes the best Meatball Sandwich you will ever eat. It is the very best!!! It is the best in the world!!! The best ever!!! the most bestest you will ever taste!!! The best meatball sandwich ever created by man or woman!!! If the meatball sandwich was the 8^th wonder of the world, theirs would be considered the 9^th, 10^th and 11^th wonder of the world!!!

We were studying at the Pannikin Coffee & Tea across the street, when we decided to step out and find a place for lunch. This place was pretty empty when we came in around lunch. However, the food was delicious! I had the Celebrity sandwich and Minto salad… both very delicious! The food was fresh and tasty. I will definitely come back again!

I had a great meal at this location! It is on a quieter section of Girard St. in the Village of La Jolla. There was plenty of parking and the food was FAB. Super fresh and simple. The service was great

Ordered lunch dor deliverey for my student to LJES (for the first time). They never brought lunch. When I called them they told me that the lunch must have been stolen and it happens all the time. They argued with me that its not their problem.
This is a correction to my earlier post about the lunch not being delivered. One of the employes made a lunch and brought it over. Maybe a little reorganization is needed.

This is a very cool Italian deli, cute and clean. They have fresh rolls and quality meats and fresh veggies. I really like the caprese sandwich here, but many of them are good. Anything with prosciutto is a good call as well and they will be hand made as your order it.
They have tavola calda foods as well, including sausages, chicken, salads, pastas that can be heated or taken to go. Dont forget desserts, like lemon bars, cake and cookies. They have a little seating to eat here, but this is a great place to grab and go for lunch or to stop in on the way home from work and add to your dinner menu. There is a parking lot to make it easier as well.

Seriously — this place is fabulous. Everything — is fresh — all of the time and always delicious. From the chicken salad to the lasagna (which you can eat right there or take home for dinner) is delicious. The bread is fresh and hot every time and the desserts… forget it… I can’t help myself!
I stopped in last week and got a pint of chicken salad and then a baguette and my plan was to take it home for later — I had one bite while I was gettin in the car — and ate the rest right then and there. So good. So simple. Great value.
