Mr Collins had resized and cleaned a wedding ring set that was 32 years old. He re-​did the tips and made it sparkle. It was a gift from my mother to my son who loved the ring. He proposed to his girlfriend and she also loved the ring. Thank you Michael for making the ring look brand new. It is a special piece.

I recently took an awesome diamond ring set into Michael to see what he might be able to custom build a man’s ring for me yet keep the sentiment of the original design so I would remember the basics came from my Mother. Michael offered many possibilities and was very empathetic to my need for a jewelry tribute to my Mother’s original piece since she is basically a Diamond Queen. (She owns 3 loops of her own) Michael’s completed work was of the highest quality and unique and breath taking design.

My mom loves opals, so my stepdad has made her a bunch of custom items. She is also highly allergic to most metals, so getting her jewelry is tricky. Mr. Collins’ work is of the highest quality and is what you should expect from a professional jewelry house.
One of my own favorite pieces comes from here. My parents got me a beautiful 2 tone tennis bracelet for my 21^st birthday. That was almost 10 years ago and I still lovingly wear my gorgeous piece with pride. I especially love that it was made by someone I know in my hometown.
He will also help you with items you didn’t purchase here. Back in college, I got a watch and needed links taken out. He was happy to do it for me at no charge.
You might easily drive by this place. It’s just east of where University turns into La Mesa Blvd. It’s on the south side of the street and you can park right in the front at a meter.
