Serendipity Salon

I love this salon! First of all, I am very cautious about who I get my hair done with so I’ve been going to salons more on the expensive side. However, my cousin recommended me this place and after seeing how gorgeous my cousin’s hair is, I decided to try it out.
The location is kind of hidden but has plenty of parking as there is a parking lot and street parking as well.
The salon is so cute! I love the décor and the vibe. There isn’t a front desk but I was greeted instantly by a worker and was seen within the next five minutes.
Michelle was awesome! She did such a great job with my hair I was so happy with the result. I wanted to go lighter and shorter. Great price as well! This place is definitely my new go-​to hair salon
Also, after you get your hair done walk over to Swami’s Café down the street to grab a bite! I know you’re going to be hungry after spending 3+ hours in the salon!

I love this place !! The staff is so friendly and so professional. Sometimes I come in with a vision and they just make it come to life and if I come in with no clue they always have a vision for me. I’ve done high lights, vivid color, or just a trim and they always do excellent work! I recommend Michelle and all the staff here (:

I have been coming to Michelle forever. She is fantastic at cutting my curly hair!!! I always feel beautiful after leaving my appointments.

I wanted to update my review from the original 2 to 3 stars. I learned that the team has not used Pravana Smooth Out in 3 years. And although an offer to get a discounted redo using an original Brazilian blowout was 3 years too late, I appreciate both the offer and the adjustment to the salon’s practice.

The Brazilian blowout here is the cheapest non-​groupon rate I found. Stacey did my Brazillian blowout and now my hair is straight, healthy-​looking, and shiny. I love it! You gotta come see Stacey and get your Brazillian blowout. Everyone is very nice and friendly. My sister recently got her hair cut but she saw the beautiful hair everyone kept going out with she got her hair cut again. I’m going to keep coming back. I love this salon! You will too!

I went here for my first Brazilian Blowout. Genna was AMAZING! She’s obviously very experienced, extremely talented and so friendly and easy going. I would rate her 10 stars if it were possible. Im currently a single mother of a 10 month old, working full time, and getting a day off alone is extremely rare for me so this was the ONLY day I could get off work and get a sitter for my child, Genna genuinely went out of her way to schedule me in at a time that was convenient for me. She was very busy yet she was so quick. It felt like I was in and out of there in a matter of minutes. (Even though this process would usually seem like a day spent at the salon). Her price was surprisingly reasonable so of course, I went ahead and scheduled another appointment with her for high lights. Thank you so much Genna! I already recommended you to my friends!

The store looks beautiful! Very clean and put together. I love Lana and she always takes care of me. She understands that I have thin hair and that I’m trying to grow it out.

I had my first appointment with Genna and am so pleased! Everyone in the salon was nice and friendly. Genna was a hoot! She explained the Brazilian Blowout process and even made time to do color/​highlights and a cut. She listened to me and then delivered even better than I had hoped. She made me a loyal customer!!! I can’t wait for my next appointment:)

Hey Michelle, just thought I’d give a shout out on how well you cut my partner Scott’s and my hair. You do such a great job and wouldn’t know where to go if you weren’t available. I absolutely love this salon and the people in it. I feel like everyone here is friends and they invite you in to feel that way as well. All the girls are extremely knowledgeable and I always leave looking and feeling beautiful. If you were thinking about trying something new this is the place to go. Lana is one of the sweetest! I always get my hair done with her. I love my Brazillian blow out. Waking up without having to spend an hour on my hair makes my day.

This review is for Genna! This review is way overdue. I’ve been going to her for about two years now and every year, I move further away but I still return to her. She is amazing and always understands what I want. She also has a great personality and keeps me entertained while I’m there. Her price is awesome too!
I just had a blowout for my first time and I love it. My hair is so smooth and shiny, it feels and looks great! I was a little hesitant to get the blowout since I didn’t know much about it but I definitely don’t regret it!

Genna did my Brazilian Blowout on groupon the treatment she used did not work. She applied very small amount of product and when I washed my hair a week later
It was back to curly. I called her to tell her how my hair was, I never received a call back.

I’m only giving it one star, because Genna has a pleasant personality, and offered to try and repair some of the damage, other than that, deserves NO star
I went in because I purchased a groupon for BRAZILIAN Blowout, as I have done in the past for other salons through groupon.
I came in, and was given a completely different «treatment» than I purchased.
She did warn me about the smell, yet she said nobody would notice other than myself and my spouse, WRONG! My hair was my pride, shiny and manageable, I was only looking to eliminate frizz. Now, my hair is DRY, UNRULY, STINKS, and has a nasty waxy feel that I can’t seem to get rid of!
After calling Genna, she offered a deep conditioning to help repair the damage. I agreed, however, didn’t appreciate the fact that she tried to put blame on my highlights. (Mind you, this would have been the 4^th time I got a Brazilian Blowout, and always on my highlighted hair and NEVER with ANY complaints) nor was it brought up during consultation.
At this point, I don’t know if the negative review should be for
A) Prevana (name of treatment applied)
B) Groupon (sold as Brazilian)
C) Salon
Forget the $ 100 I spent, I just want my healthy hair back!!!

Brazilian Blow out, My hair was alright after the treatment but once i got home and washed it and them blow dried it my hair was super poofy ! i looked like a lion this did not work AT ALL. waste of money, I’m fucking pissed. did not help my hair and once i straightened it thinking it would help. nope my hair is still frizzy and horrible as ever.

I got the Brazilian blowout as advertised on Groupon. Genna was great; very personable, knowledgeable about the process, and she made sure I left with the right shampoo. Most importantly, my hair is awesome! This is not the wavy, frizzy mop that usually grows out of my head. I just blow dried it and it is ultra silky. I can’t stop playing with it. I’m going back to have Genna dye my roots and trim away the split ends.

Alexis was great. I was able to get in right away and she was very knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back!

This is to let everyone know that Genna rocks and that if you need to get your hair cut «guys» or hair styled «gals» Shes the one to go to. I just got my hair cut and she did a fantastic job. :)

Genna is a gem! She’s amazing at complex color and trends, is very reasonably priced and has a great personality.
I’ve seen her three times and have thrown her curve balls, as far as hair trends and color requests. Each time she has gone above and beyond to ensure that I am happy with the end result and even called me to see how I liked the new look.
I couldn’t be happier with Genna and recommend her to all my friends and Unilocal-​ers!

Genna did my hair for a friend’s wedding in October and did an awesome job! She is very friendly and upbeat which is always a plus when getting your hair done, otherwise the time seems to go on and on forever.
The salon is very cute and clean, everyone was nice. I would definitely go back to have Genna do my hair and have recommended her to friends.
