A quiet nice place for lunch. Located on the fourth floor of an office building. Nice views of the freeway when you get off the elevator. Place has plenty of tables to sit and a couch to relax if your just having a coffee. There are 2 televisions but they are not very loud. I ordered the mile high which was really good. They have a nice variety of sandwiches. Plenty of parking for the building.

Very nice owner. Somewhat hard to find the first time as it’s on the 4th floor of an office building. Sandwiches were decent but nothing special. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I don’t think more than 3 stars is warranted. No plans for a return visit.

Amazing amazing amazing. The sandwiches are always super yummy and the soups are hot and delicious as well. I work in the building and eat here when I forget my lunch(or am too lazy to make it lol) Vic is by far the most amazing businessman out there and is always very friendly and accommodating. He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are completely satisfied. I will always rave about this deli for more than just the food… customer service is a priority to me and this deli exceeds all expectations. Thank you Vic. –Ash =)

The craving was more than satisfied and the customer service was over the top. It’s in an office building so it’s kind of hard to find but so worth it.

We ordered two sandwiches from this place– grilled cheese and the three decker turkey and ham one. They came in the time allotted. The driver though literally didn’t say a word to me when he dropped it off. So weird like not even hi or bye. I had paid online so he didn’t have to take my money but I even paid a 20% tip beforehand so it’s not like he was frustrated at me or something. So weird and it kind of threw me off. The soda I got was kind of weird tasting. I think the machine must have ran out of syrup. And then the triple decker sandwich was very good but the grilled cheese wasn’t even melted all the way. Overall it was alright but I won’t be ordering from here again. UPDATE! Wow! That is such excellent customer service I am in shock. Haha.(I haven’t been able to call him back yet since I have a newborn at home and we are busy busy) I do think that deserves 5 stars as the big reason I had it at three stars was because the driver was rude and as the manager explained to me that the driver is not this restaurants guy, that Eat24(Delivery place) contracts out For it. The triple decker sandwich was really good so now that I respect the customer service I will definitely order here again. Thanks Vic!

I work as an IT consultant to a number of small businesses in the area. One of the perks of this type of job is you get to try any number of deli’s in office buildings and business parks and such. I will tell you quite sincerely that I now will go miles out of my way to come here for a sandwich. They are that good and the service is amazing. I’m still working my way through the menu; it’s all been terrific so far. Standouts to me are the Rueben(panini’d) and the Chicken Italiano. Great food at a great price made fresh by great people; what more could you ask for?

Love this place! I prefer to go to family owned businesses when I can and this one is one of them. Every time I see my accountant in the same building I have to stop and get myself a PepperJack Panini on sourdough or try what they have on special that day. Now that they deliver; my coworkers and I will be able to order anytime: AWESOME! Fresh bread, courteous service and a great atmosphere! My mouth is watering again… :) Highly recommended!

I’m from New York and there are a few things we take very seriously. One of them is our Deli’s. Since moving to California I have been searching for a good Deli to get a simple Egg and cheese on a bagel. Seems simple enough. Until every«Deli» I’ve gone to throws my egg in the microwave as I’ve stared on in horror double checking the establishment I just walked into because a real deli would never even think of doing such a thing. I saw Vic’s had some great reviews and looked at the pictures and the eggs looked like real eggs cooked on a grill. So I went to check it out. It’s located in a large Business building but it’s easy enough to find, just go in any entrance and go to the 4th floor, and follow the smell. It’s a very nice set up and they have a good selection of snacks and baked goods(I had an old fashion donut covered in chocolate… pretty damn good) and a nice vibe all around, and the most important thing… a grill. I was also happy to see a few bagels to choose from. I ordered a simple egg and cheese on an everything bagel and I nearly teared up when Vic asked me «how do you want your egg?» and«salt and pepper on that?» I know this sounds trivial but you have no idea what you’re missing in a deli if these questions are NOT asked. It’s what my experience has been like in every other«deli» here in San Diego. They throw an egg in a microwave, slap on cheese, and put it on a crappy bagel and then try to pass themselves off as a deli. Now, no bagel can compare to a good NY bagel, but I was very pleased with the bagel I had at Vic’s. It wasn’t flat, it was soft and full of flavor. Needless to say I went back a day later for the same thing. I must also add that I only had one cup of coffee there, but it was delicious, the Hawaiian Nut I believe it was… very tasty. Overall, for what it’s worth, this place has my NY Deli Snob stamp of approval for consumption.

This place is a hidden gem. Wouldn’t have known about it if not for Unilocal.I’m pretty excited that it is right down the street from me. Lunch was fantastic! On a side note: Unilocal flashed something about 10% off when you check in, but the guy here didn’t seem to know about it. He honored it, but I guess ya can’t believe the Unilocal app. Weird that it would appear here if the owners/employees don’t know about it.

NOTE: Vic’s is inside the tall glass plaza, on level 4. Great deli, great customer service. Vic treats people right. I highly recommend that you try their paninis and sit to eat! I had daily special panini: turkey, cilantro dressing, chipotle mayo, pepper jack cheese, all on sourdough bread. It looked and tasted incredible off the press. Before the sandwich I had a cup of chicken noodle. I thought it was good, and it hit the spot; different than my Jewish grandmother’s chicken noodle, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Two great paninis and a soup for under 10 $ each after tax. Can’t beat that, 10⁄10 would come again.

After spending my morning at Kaiser, I was craving a deli sandwich. I took a 3 min drive, parked in visitor parking, and took the elevator to the 4th floor. As soon as you exit there it is! I ordered the Pesto Chicken & Bacon to go. It was delicious! The pricing is decent, atmosphere is clean and friendly, the menu is simple yet filled with tasty variety in the sandwiches that you wont find anywhere else.

It was a bit confusing to find but just park in the visitors parking behind the mirrored building. Then you take the forth floor and you can’t miss it. I tried a cheese parmesan bagel with egg, cheese, bacon, and sausage. Simple yet delicious. My girlfriend got the Chicken Italiani. Which was also very fresh and delicious! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients on every bite. We exchanged half a bagel each to try both. Would definitely recommend if your looking for something different fresh and great customer service.

I had a meeting in this building and I arrived a little early so I stopped in Vic’s for a cup of coffee and a everything bagel with avocados and tomatoes. They split the bagel and then toast it so that the insides of the slices are brown and crunchy( ). I liked that the avocado was freshly smashed and lightly seasoned, and that they gave me a lot of it( ). The healthy option bagel sandwich was simple, but very good. I liked the freshness of the tomatoes and the abundance of flavor the everything bagel provided with all the goodness on top. The lady who made the bagel sandwich was very nice and Vic was as friendly as ever. I hope they get their WiFi back soon because it was not available when I visited. They are located on the fourth floor of the Alvarado Office Building.

This is a nice surprise! The food is delicious and the owner made my sister and me feel right at home. We had an avogobble, which was delicious and had this awesome avocado and alfalfa sprout mix. I had the roast beef and chili verde panini, which was my kinda sandwich because it was the right amount of spicy with the chipotle mayonnaise. This is a must try place especially after a nice hike up Cowles Mountain :)

The location is a bit hard to find if you don’t already know where it’s at. It’s on the 4th floor of the building with the mirrored windows. Parking and the entrance is on the backside of the building. The customer service is absolutely the best and is what makes the whole lunch time experience worthwhile. Vic is a pleasure to talk with and took the time to help me pick out a sandwich. My friend and I both got a Panini sandwich and we both loved it! The ingredients are fresh and the avocado was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Had a cream cheese bagel with bacon. The bagel had the perfect amount of cream cheese and the bacon was crisped to perfection. Service was also very friendly.
