Been here like a thousand times. Like the people that work here and it’s a nice place to study or hang out. Good indoor and outdoor seating. They usually have pastries, fruits, a small selection of meals and some pretty good iced or warm beverages. The coffee’s alright, nothing amazing, but pretty good.

Myra’s Specialtea(WAS) my favorite until they started to pour the ALREADY steeped tea in to the cup with flavored fruity syrup which makes it too sweet for my taste. So now every time I order Myra’s I ask them to steep my tea and leave the tea bag inside the cup so I can still taste the White Orchard tea along with the strawberry syrup! Try it, it’s less sweet and it’s just like the original.

They get really busy. There service is okay, it’s pretty much worked by students. They have a variety of drinks(coffee, tea, smoothies. Etc.). There are snacks, bagels(which are really great), things they can warm up, and a limited selection of fruit. The inside is really nice, but the quality of the drinks is just okay, except the tea brand they use is pretty excellent. They often get orders wrongs and as a campus business, I don’t usually have the urge to go here. Though a lot of on campus students love it and hang out here frequently! So it really depends on the type of student or costumer who will really love it or think it’s ok.

First off i would like to say that Biola does not have good coffee. Any one else who says otherwise does not know good coffee. I will say that Common grounds does have good expressos(so get americano)… And the workers are great, but can be time consuming to order sometimes.(Yes it is a college campus, but still takes too long). Also the talon on campus is the worst for any type of coffee. They charge the same price for an Americano as common grounds, but they only give you one shot.

The people who work here are really friendly. Common Grounds can get really busy. Sometimes, you will have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for your order.

It’s fine for Biola students, but is pretty loud and small.

I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but I really like their chai latte and yogurt smoothies, along with the bagels. The hot tea is good, but you have to wait about 10 minutes for it to cool down, or you won’t be able to taste anything for awhile. =P Service is always friendly, quick and helpful.

Commons is pretty good for a school coffee shop in my opinion. I love their Chai drinks, and their smoothies are amazing. The lines can get pretty long if you don’t use Tapingo or if you hit a busy time between classes, but the staff all works really hard to be quick and helpful. The prices are pretty good too, and it can be a nice study or hangout environment. Also, at Christmas time, get a Chai Latte with Peppermint. It’s magic.

In my opinion, the best drip coffee on campus. Good place for early morning study.

Came here for the first time while on campus to meet with an advisor. I like their soy iced latte. Sorry Trojan Grounds at USC but I have to say Common Grounds makes a better iced latte. Looks like I’ll be spending a lot of time here when school starts.

Being that it’s the only place on campus, I guess it’s decent. But too many times have I gotten a drink that was only two-thirds full with way too much froth, or a drink with terrible proportions. Granted this isn’t every time, but I don’t feel like I can really depend on them to get me great coffee when I need it.
