As far as Biola’s food goes it’s not too bad. They have a super wide variety of options and are open later than most places on campus. The one really frustrating thing is that they are randomly closes sometimes. Their Mexican food is alright and their burgers aren’t bad. It’s a little bit overpriced but it’s a lot more convenient than going off campus to get food. Had a burrito bowl today and it was pretty decent, hard to stir up all the ingredients equally though.

Eagle’s Nest is good when it comes to not having to eat at the Café on Campus. The ladies who work there are my favorite part about coming in. They’re sweet and friendly! The food is not the tastiest or the best, but it’s not the worst. It is okay. It can be a wait depending if it is a busy time when a bunch of students are out of class. The best things to order are their stuffed quesadillas(specifically the California Club with added black beans), WET burritos(NOT the regular ones), all the breakfast options are pretty good, and there New Mexican Pizzas are ok with some extra avocado and some added sauce. The thing about ordering is to add something extra to make it tasty and satisfying enough.

The food is alright, if you’re in a hurry and don’t have time for something else then I would recommend going to the talon instead. Once they«cleaned» my bowl of noodles before handing it to me with a dirty towel. I couldn’t even eat it after seeing that.

The Eagles’ Nest is good for food in a pinch, but it’s not amazing. There are healthy options, but they aren’t cheap. In fact, the fruit is greatly overpriced. Everything else is priced quite reasonably, but I’d be willing to spend much more if the food was truly healthy. Watch the amount you spend on food here, you might be better off paying for a meal at the Caf. At least this place has more options than the Talon.

Seriously small portions for the price. However, the know they have a monopoly so they don’t have to try. And it shows.

The words i’d use to discribe this place, are the same ones i’d use to describe a brazillian pop-star. Over priced, greasy and, untasteful. The worst part is, it’s no different than the food in the café.

The only reason I give this place a 2 star instead of one is because i like the workers… But this doesn’t excuse my 27 minute wait for my food. The workers had no excuse because it wasn’t even dinner time… meaning that there barely was anybody there. The food is also a 2.

This is an attempt to get a variety of food besides the car — it’s okay, I guess, but you’re better off talking a nice walk off-campus and finding something cheaper and better tasting. Unless you like calzones and don’t care about calories. Then, eat your heart out. NOTE: They also forget about you and your order easily. Be vigilant and watch that number counter.

What do you expect? It’s school food. Although, coming from UCI school food I would say Eagle’s nest is an upgrade. I ordered a burrito and they weren’t stingy on the ingredients(anyone whos coming from UCI should relate) The pricing is actually cheaper than I expected ($ 4.89 incl tax for burrito through Tapingo) No waiting in line for me because I ordered through Tapingo :) Not bad, not bad.

Food is just ok, nothing spectacular. I like that this place has lots of indoor and outdoor seating and that this place has a microwave(even though it’s only 700 watts) their pasta menu changes daily and the grill changes into a Mongolian grill in the evening. So if you read my post on Common Grounds, I said that it is better than Trojan Grounds at USC, well Eagles Nest evens the playing field because USC food is better all around but only because USC has money to bring in fast food chains on campus

Here’s the rundown: I’ve been forgotten about multiple times and have ended up waiting for my food for OVER30MINUTES, it is WAY over priced for the quality, the staff can’t answer any questions, they don’t have nutritional facts available if requested, food is inconsistent, they sporadically close the grill for«specials» that no body likes, they sometimes run out of to-go boxes and ingredients, staff takes over a table or two in the dining area even during high volume times… I think you get my point. Here’s a taste of prive vs value: You can get a turkey sandwich made to order for a little over $ 5, and it’s on standard size bread or bun. You can get a footlong turkey at Subway for $ 6(and it will taste better, you’ll have better service, etc.).

Quick review: Get– Turkey burger, Philly Cheese, or the daily special. Bonus: They don’t take card. How is this a bonus? It’s not. Ok. Granted that this isn’t a «real restaurant» but rather the University’s excuse for«variety» on campus dining. The Uni has one company running all three on campus dining options(the Café, Eagles Nest, and the Talon) which means that for the most part the food you get at one location is pretty similar to the other locations. This also means, they pretty much have a monopoly on our meals. The food varies at Eagles from day to day but they have a few staples namely«Mexican, Deli, and Pizza.» You can expect pretty much what the names imply. Burritos, sandwiches, and well… pizza. Overall the food isn’t horrendous, but keep in mind it’s not a regular deli, but rather a substitute for the dining common(yes singular) so go in with that mind set. Really at this point I’m guessing only University students will be reading this, so you should know what I’m talking about. Stuff that’s decent? The wet burrito isn’t bad, kinda bland but that aint something that hot sauce can’t fix. Also the turkey burgers are pretty good, tasty and far less dry than a regular burger, in fact some might say it’s juicy. The Philly cheese steaks won’t compare to even Great Steak and Potato Comp. but it sure beats Cup-O-Noodles. But seriously it’s pretty good. Everything is prepared fresh so that’s a plus. I’d avoid the over priced fruit and chips. My major gripe with Eagles is actually my complaint with the University’s excuse for options. With one company running all the food choices at the school, we’re basically paying for the same stuff all around. Given they do help to employ many of the students on campus, but if the University would bring in other big name franchises, I’m positive they’d give us work also. But if you’ve already used your meal for the time and you’re still hungry, or if you just got out of class and the Café isn’t open but this is your only chance to eat, you’ll probably have to pour more money into the same company that doesn’t allow us to use our meals the way we see fit. But like the old Checkers/Rally’s tag line reads, «You Gotta Eat.» And eating shall be done at Eagles’ Nest. Side note: Be aware that you cannot use your card here. Only cash and flex points will work.
