Oh my gosh, the cashier was so nice! It’s a very convenient location, my only complaint is some poorly placed prices.

If you do not have insurance, you want to choose this place over going to an urgent care clinic for your common medical issues. I was sweating it out about how much it would cost to go to an urgent care facility ($ 200+) and then a coworker told me about this place. They do also take insurance, but don’t make you wait as long for an appointment as your doctor’s office will. They are owned independently of Walgreens, but set-​up in their stores.

) They offer a lot of vaccinations, including the ones your kids need before going to school (MMR, chicken pox, shingles, Hep B, etc.) They treat allergies, sinus problems, infections, do nebulizer breathing treatments, take out your stitches/​sutures, do a range of physicals, treat animal bites, burns, sprains, and even do several health assessments/​screenings. And they have over a dozen types of skin ailments that they can treat, all without having to deal with a doctor’s office or hospital waiting room. Here’s their detailed list of what they offer:

The woman who took care of me was so professional and good-​natured. She even sent over my prescription to another pharmacy since it would cost me less.
They have branches in other states, too. I guess they are looking to open one right in New Orleans, which is good news for me!
