This place was surprisingly good. I got the chicken kabob. Husband ordered the leg of lamb. Didn’t look as he expected but he thought it tasted really good. Ordered the prosciutto caprese appetizer, but I wouldn’t order that again. The prosciutto had a tough hardened ring of fat on it making it tough to chew. The way the cheese is just one ball in the middle and the tomatoes are wedges instead of slices. .it’s just not the best way to do this salad. It wasn’t seasoned in anyway special, but it cost $ 16. My chicken kabob though, came with this lemony oil sauce that was really tasty. The asparagus were large and though not really seasoned much, they weren’t overcooked. The rice was not my thing, but I never like the rice in Greek restaurants. Our waiter was very polite and attentive. There were some loud women at the bar using profanity which I did find very annoying, but for this area, it’s a good restaurant. The food is better than the atmosphere.

Oh my goodness. So yummy! From our humus pita & calamari apps to our kabobs & gyros. Outrageously good it made me want to dance! Save room for the baklava as its made fresh daily. Loved the décor as well. Our server Toné is the sweetest. She took the time to explain the menu & was so kind. We will be back!

Marvelous moussaka and delightful dolmatas. We are driving through MD on way home to NC and stopped for lunch. Authentic Greek food and perfectly prepared Greek coffee.

Great food and atmosphere! A great date night spot, will definitely be back again! The service was great and the portions are generous! It’s nice to know that you can get great food in Southern Maryland without having to go to DC!

The food is fantastic. Every single time. Very nice atmosphere and décor. Only negative is the wait staff sometimes forget certain items. Last night we did not get our appetizer and needed to remind him of a beverage order. We go a few times a year.

Hands down, the food here is delicious. Top quality and excellent presentation. We’ve dined here 3 or 4 times now and the food is definitely the highlight. On our last visit, we started with a trio of dips. Hummus, tzaziki and(I think) skordalia. They were all delicious. Hummus was silky, tzaziki had a nice bite from the garlic and the skordalia was pleasantly spicy. I do wish it was served with more pita bread though. For entrees, we had the pasta carbonara with chicken and the gyro platter. The portions seem small, but they are so well prepared and such high quality that it compensates for the price to size ratio. Both entrees are great. On a previous visit, I tried the kabobs and those are certainly worth trying as well. The Greek beers are really nice, try a Mythos or Aris. Both are nice and tasty. The manager was very solicitous on our most recent visit and made us feel welcome. Our server good also.

I had first eaten at this establishment before they moved and was very impressed. Now they have moved into the old Pizza Hut and they have done an excellent job on the interior… Hard to tell it was anything but a nice Greek restaurant. It is warm and inviting. Now, if they could provide a warm and inviting welcome! We were greeted when we came in but then the server disappeared. The owner(?) say at the bar and ignored us waiting for 5 or so minutes. Apparently the server had to change a keg. The 2 servers are very pleasant, if only the owner/manager was as well. The wraps are delicious! The Pork is well flavored and crispy/tender. Work on the service and you will have a total winner!

I thought this place was awesome when they first opened… I visited a year later and I had a negative experience so I posted about my experience on FB. Someone offered me a gift card, but never bothered to get any info to make sure I got the gift card or talked to the manager about my negative experience. It’s like they made a post to make themselves look responsible/accountable, but never followed through with the promise. I will not go back to this restaurant on my own… Only if someone has an event like a birthday(and I would highly discourage it). I will attach my original complaint:

Went there to celebrate daughters birthday. Service was VERY slow. Took forever for a waiter to come even greet us. Took forever to get drinks, and then our food. However once we got our food it was amazing. Everything tasted great and no complaints. We brought our own cake and they graciously cut it, and then all of them came out and sing happy birthday adding a Greek flair. Will definitely go back. Hopefully service will improve

Highly disappointed in my visit here. Walked in, took three minutes to get as much as a hello, I notice the bar tender busily working while a server sits in the corner playing on his phone. Later to find out this is our server, after being seated by the bar tender it took nearly 10 minutes for the server playing on his phone to come greet us. We started with a very large wine glass with a very small amount of wine in it for a very large price, along with Calamari but no sauce or marinara to dip in. $ 20 for one skewer of meat ! No way ! I ordered chicken, rice and veggies, other visitor ordered chicken pesto pasta. My meal had no rice with it, I asked waiter he said it doesn’t come with rice, the menu says it does! My friends mean had zero pesto in it, it was a minuscule bowl of pasta for a huge price. Tables were not cleaned between different customers, table cloths had many stains on them. Overall the service was horrible and the food was very typical. Zero added flavor. I will not return nor will I suggest this place to others. $ 65 dollars for a meal I could of put together at home for $ 10, surely not $ 55 worth of ambiance!

The positive, it was a nice looking/feeling small restaurant and my husband and I were excited as we read all the great reviews and we’re getting out without the kids for a change. Our waitress was nice and attentive. …sadly this is where the positives end. The food wasn’t even in the acceptably good range, especially for the prices they charge. We ordered a feta appitizer, literally melted chunk of feta cheese with some parsley and paprika. The bread served with it was just a plain grilled slice of stale french bread… paid $ 9 for melted feta and bread with grill marks… unacceptable. we got a complimtary bread basket of more dry bread and some roasted red pwpper dip that was bland and pretty sure came out of a can. Bleh. Dinner we got kabobs… Kabobs are just chunks of grilled meat, no idea where seasoning is or what exactly is supposed to be Greek about it. I make better on my grill at home. You get one skewer for $ 20. It did come with broccolini, rice with pita with some soy based sauce and tatziki. Pretty sure we got rice a roni with a cherry tomato thrown in it. Tatziki sauce was chunky and nothing special. Pita bread was best part and pretty sure it isn’t made in house either. If it wasn’t for all that dry bread I would have left still very hungry. Seriously, just save yourself the dissapointment and go up the road to the prime street grill. Ambiance isn’t as good but food was on point.

We had such a wonderful dinner a few nights ago. I called to see if they take reservations because I had read it was recommended. We went on a Saturday at like 6:45, had a nice crowd but no wait. We started with the drink special, a house lemonade which was lemonade with cherry vodka I believe. Tasted sweet but good, however I could barely taste the booze. For our appetizer we chose the Spanakopita and my fiancé and I both loved it. We cleaned the plate, the pastry was so light and perfect . For our entrees, I chose the Greek chicken kabobs. They were exactly what you would expect and delicicous. Came with rice and pita bread, and of course the chicken, peppers and onions on the hanging kabob. The Tzatziki sauce was the best I’ve had! I couldn’t get enough. My man got the Pastitsio(greek lasagna basically) and while it was good, it had a strange overpowering spice we couldn’t figure out, maybe too much nutmeg? He finished it so it wasn’t that bad. I finished the meal with the Sapphire martini which was just ehh… I could only taste the smirnoff. Overall, I can’t wait to go back!

What a wonderful real Greek dinner I had here, this is authentic Greek food that was so delicious I could not stop eating and the place is run by two Greek brothers who know how to spread that Greek hospitality around, it’s all good…

Went on mother’s day and tried the 3-course menu plus an appetizer. The Calamari appetizer was overcooked so the squid was rather chewy. Unfortunate because the breading was really thin, crispy, and really tasty. Could use a dipping sauce though. Galazio;s interpretation of a Grek Salad was pretty darn good and all ingredients were crispy and fresh. Might come back to sit at the bar and have a salad for dinner. Had the suckling pig which was OK but nothing to write home about. The white meat was pretty dry but the dark was nice and juicy. Served with roasted potatoes that could have used some color. Dessert was OK, ice cream mediocre. Will go back especially based on reviews from friends.

Way too overpriced. I won’t go back until you get two kabobs for the price you pay. You’re still starving after ordering a kabob dinner. I’ve never been to a restaurant where I’ve been hungry after my main course. Why the locals don’t realize this, amazes me. You are getting ripped off people.

I was in town and came across this restaurant driving to my hotel. Boy, am I glad I stopped! The ambiance was magnificent and the food was even better! Greek salad with tons of fresh vegetables, tomatoes, capers, cucumbers, olives, green peppers, and of course, feta crumbles with the lightest, yet most flavorful dressing ever! I paired my salad with the feta skaras appetizer which was heavenly! The perfect companion was the glass of Argentinian Conquista Malbec wine. Do yourself a favor and stop at this restaurant, you will not be sorry! I’m already looking forward to my next trip to town so I can come hungry and enjoy a kabob or some pasta!

I came here with some of my girlfriends for a casual night out. We had a great time. When you sit down you are immediately greeted with water and toasted bread with a semi-spicy hummus(delicious). For appetizers we split the cheese flambé(I can’t remember the proper name) — it was good but very lemony. Not what I was expecting from eating flambéed cheese. For our entrees we each got a kebab: the Greek chicken, swordfish and lamb chops. Everything was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The kebab is served with veggies(onions and peppers like a traditional kebab), pita bread, rice pilaf and three sauces: tzatziki, hummus and a sweet chili. So good, we were dipping our pita bread into them long after the food was gone. We all had a piece of baklava for dessert. Warning, it’s huge! It was a honey and walnut baklava. It was okay — I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. I really liked Galazio’s, I will definitely be going back in the future.
