This Denny’s has improved immensely! For a bit they were off track, but got a new staff, new cook, the past 2 times we ate here everything was great! Ask for Marsha, she’s awesome!

.Not as good as The Waffle House but The Waffle was crowded and Denny’s had seats this day. I had the Grand Slam and it was pretty good. Bacon was crispy and tasty. Great service and friendly. The coffee was hot and good. Everything wa as ordered. Thanks staff at La Port Dennys. I will be back.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The management here has completely lost control. Since I’ve been here (about an hour) I’ve seen a total of 4 tables walk out. The manager is currently eating oranges at the counter while the 500 pound door hostess is sitting at the bar propped up by a giant «wet floor» cone. One waitress is running around serving, greeting, and doing an awesome job. But she is alone in that. The other waitress is walking around telling customers what a mess this place is and how much she «is done» with it. At one point this lady slammed a customers card down on the counter and told the group of workers around the cash register she wasn’t doing it. The AC is clearly not working, but nothing else is either. What a disaster!

Food was ok but this Denny’s has really gone downhill on it’s cleanliness. I prefer the Denny’s off Spencer Hwy.

New menu, lost the $ 2 mini banana split and chocolate pancake puppies but added biscuits and gravy and hash browns or an egg for the same $ 2.

A very nice Denny’s restaurant with courteous helpers and hot food. I found it quite by accident, but the ambiance of the 1950s classic café was just right!

It has been so long since I have been to Denny’s. We were on the way home from Texas and stopped in. We arrived and were seated immediately.
The service wasast and the best I have had in awhile. We had a group of about 15 and she handled everything so well. We had some appetizers and I opted for the Chicken Club. I know it is Denny’s, but it really hit the spot for lunch.

Fantastic service. They know the patrons in the area need to be in/​out in a timely manner. Prompt refills. Great lunch value deals. Fluffy pancakes, poofy scrambled eggs, crisp bacon. What more can you ask for? The fact that it is decorated like a diner is just icing on the cake!
Breakfast for lunch. love, love, LOVE!
