If you grew up eating traditional home cooked Mexican Food, this is definitely the place for you. Visited the restaurant and tried the tacos de alpastor, asada and chicken & all were great. A few days later, I brought my wife to try some of their carne asada burritos and they were also delicious. The salsas are key when it comes to Mexican Food and they do not disappoint from the red to the green. We really enjoyed the authenticity of the food, so we also hired Alma Delia’s to help us cater our boys birthday party. For a really, really reasonable price, we are having three meats, salsas, quesadillas and they will also come set up at the location and are providing all the plates. You will not be disappointed, go visit them and tell your family about them. It’s hard to find a great Mexican restaurant these days, so when you find one — you’ve gotta spread the word.

This place is super good. Great prices, great flavor and good sized portions. The owners are very very nice and keep it very clean. It’s totally hidden on old valley, you really need to look for it. They even offer catering at great prices. Overall great restaurant for La Puente to be proud to offer.

Oh wow! I’ve never been here but I’ll be back. Soooooooo good!!! I got Carne asada and chorizo tacos and sopes. The meat is tender and tasteful. The green salsa isn’t too spicy which I love and the guacamole is very delicious. I’m glad I tried this place. I totally recommend it. 99¢ taco Tuesdays… You can’t beat that! And the owners and employees are super sweet! Love it when the service is just as awesome as the food. If you’re in old Town Puente you really need to try this place. Yummy

Family owned and operated Mexican eatery in the ghost town that is often Old Town La Puente. The setting is intimate and very friendly, and you are greeted kindly and given great service. The señoras on the estufas know their stuff. Try their gorditas! One of the key features is that they open for breakfast and stay open late, and they are very affordable. I for one look forward to returning to sample their chilaquiles on weekend mornings. As others have claimed, a hidden gem of flavor.

A hidden gem in the city of la puente! As someone who grew up with authentic homemade Mexican food, you’ll believe me when i say that’s exactly what you get here. This family run restaurant hit it right on the bullseye with these recipes. I couldn’t have enough of their tacos and sopes! I loved the chili Verde, it was spicy but not overpowering like other restaurants. the service was fast and friendly. The owner mentioned they’re getting outdoor seating soon. I’m absolutely looking forward to coming back and enjoying a Dos Equis with a side of those sopes under the brisk winter nights.

Great traditional Mexican food in the heart of Old Town La Puente. Nothing compared to the other mediocre restaurants in the city. Had the Privilege to sample a few items– The tacos were delicious, the sope was nice as a starter, the wet burrito was my personal favorite, and the chilequiles were mouth watering. The service is outstanding nothing but good vibes and good old Mexican humor. I personally recommend this place if your tired of eating out at the other disgusting restaurants in the city. 5 stars for this critic.

Atrevete. A mi me encanto.
