Duke’s

I spend anywhere from 30 – 80 dollars a month here. I live 2 blocks away. The old man whos bald just talked to me like im an idiot. Hes probably the owner or manager. I can tell because he never does anything. Anyway he took my order today at breakfast and cut me off mid sentence and gave me a nasty look and shouted ONE AT A TIME. I guess i ordered too fast for him. I like the food but nobody talks to me like that. It was embarrasing I’m a grown man. So i cancelled my order and walked out. I like the food and the girls were always nice to me but forget that old POS manager. I’m taking my business to BOBs on valley. If you’re reading this old man you just lost 100 bucks a month.

This review is way overdue and I cannot say it more plainly that Duke’s is fantastic! This past weekend was mine and my husband’s fourth time visiting the restaurant and we were once again satisfied. The service and quality of food are great. As soon as we walk through the front doors, my husband and I don’t have to wait in line for very long because the employees are always attentive to place customer orders. Not only is the ordering process quick and efficient, it is also coupled with friendly, smiling employees. It is KEY to make eye contact and to provide a smile. My husband and I have a combined twenty years+ of customer service experience, so we understand the challenges of a job. But, it isn’t that difficult to slap a smile on your face and greet customers with genuine kindness. And perhaps that is why my husband and I continue to come back to Duke’s… there is a consistency of joy when we interact with the employees!
Sure, their customer service is a huge part in why my husband I continue to return to Duke’s. But it is also the consistent taste of their food. We order the same plate: 1) Steak Breakfast with eggs, hash browns and toast and 2) French Toast Breakfast with eggs and bacon. My husband’s steak is always well seasoned and cooked, as well as my French Toast is always cooked at the perfect crisp and topped with just the right amount of cinnamon. Yum yum!
It is definite that my husband and I will be returning for a breakfast really soon! We have confidence that our money will be worth the quality of food we will be eating. Thanks again, Duke’s!

Just found Duke’s when I moved to the area a couple months ago & I’m hooked! Food is nice & hot. The bean & cheese burritos are a good size for the price. I really liked the Veggie burgers with avocado. The fries are cooked well and are not soggy

I came here with my clients I work with diasabled adults. They purchased their lunch but the lady who took the orders is RUDE!!! First time here and last. F this place and F your customer service!

Came here for a quick lunch, I was very disappointed with the food. I had the chance to try their steak and eggs. Taste was super ordinary with no extraordinary flavors, though I’m not really expecting too much for fast food chain. The food also came in cold I don’t know why. Guess this is also one of the reason I did not enjoy the food in here.

We’ve been coming to Dukes for a long time. Every time we come here we get great service, hot, fresh tasty food.
They are a very clean establishment and the food is always consistently good.
If you like breakfast burritos try the steak burrito it’s bomb.
Also the French toast is spectacular, i’ll have to add pictures of it the next time I order again .
My all-​time favorite is the chicken Caesar salad.
Big portion nice hot grilled chicken tasty good flavor.
I’ve also tried their cheeseburgers, pastrami and grilled chicken sandwiches, they are all great!!!
Don’t forget the french fries with ranch, they’re fantastic. :)

I don’t understand this place. I work down the street and its convenient to pick up lunch for my coworkers and myself. The prices on the menu are such a lie! A drink for 3 $$$$ are your employees making up prices as they go?! I swear every time I come the prices get higher maybe they are stealing money. And the service sucks! All your employees are rude and hateful.

Pretty tasty. I never venture to this side of town much but Denny’s was packed on a Sunday morning so we thought we’d give it a try. Burgers were big and tasty, the kids enjoyed their french toast and pancake plates. I haven’t tried their zucchini or chili fries but I def will on my next visit.

The few things I have tried from the menu were good. My wife luvs their Chicken Salad because the seasoned chicken is very tasty and never dry and there are actually carrots, cucumber, hard boiled egg & tomato in a spring mix of greens. Not just chopped iceberg lettuce like most other fast food joints. Burgers, fries and Steak Sandwich all very good. The dining area is always spotless when we have come in to eat. I choose this place over Chris’s, Valley Super Burger and Victors Villa for sure.

This is my third trip for breakfast. my first time I ordered the French toast which was delicious except for the scrambled eggs the were overcooked, dry and brown. The second visit was better I ordered an egg white omelette a little brown from over cooking but still edible. today I decided to try the omelette again and asked for egg whites and crispy hash browns I received that plus a over cooked crispy brown omlette… disgusting! I called and realized they charge you an extra $ 1 without letting you know the girl on the phone said she needed me to drive back to get my money. It wasn’t the money I wanted. It was a total of $ 9.03 that went in the trash! I will not be returning which I really don’t think the girl on the phone cared which is fine by me. Its not my business.

This is the place to go for a good ol’ fashioned burger. I work down the street so Duke’s is a convenient place to go for lunch. They have a vast menu with breakfast food, salads, sandwiches, hot dogs, tacos, burritos, and even steak, pork chops, and chicken. I usually order their burgers because I know it’s good, but one time I was craving for some Mexican food and I ordered Duke’s 2 asada taco plate that is served with rice and beans. It was actually really good and a huuuuge amount.
The place is also clean and has fast efficient service.

This place pretty much sucks if you ask me I have breakfast here and the breakfast for the better word is horrible. The eggs were mushy and runny the sausage tasted old and ugly and the hash browns were burnt. Their iced tea tasted like coffee and the workers had a horrible attitude at this place I will never return ever.

I think I’ve tried mostly everything on menu good tasting food. Fast service usually call ahead

I am a pastrami fanatic and as a result, I had to try their pastrami sandwich after looking through Unilocal.So lunch it was: Pastrami Sandwich; order of fries and a large Coke. It hit the spot. Nice and meaty; not too greasy, but very tasty.

I came here at about 6pm with my family and I can honestly say it was somewhat empty. You order first like any other fast food restaurant, then sit down anywhere. After you order, they bring you your food. After a few minutes, a few people came, so I guess it was fine.
Now, the service was great for me. The lady who brought our food was really polite saying things like, «enjoy your meal!» But the lady who took our order was kinda giving us the bitch face. Dont get me wrong, I understand she might be having a tough day, but she is here to do a job and she should really put what ever she’s feeling aside and focus on doing her job well. Other than that, the rest of the staff was friendly.
The food wasn’t too good for me. I got the steak and eggs. So, I asked for the steak to be medium rare, but it came to me as a well-​done. It was chewy and tough, plus it tasted kinda old. I got sunny side up eggs, and part of the egg was still clear. It also came with a side of buttered toast and hash browns. The hash browns weren’t crunchy on the outside, neither was it soft on the inside. I also got the chili cheese fries. Pretty good, not bad. My mom got the chicken salad and she said the chicken was dry, so she couldnt finish it. My brother got the hamburger. It tasted alright. Nothing special about it. just a plain ol burger. The fries were alright. My dad got the pastrami quesadilla. He claims that it good, so I take his word for it.
A lot of the reviews say its not clean, but I didn’t see any ants, everything was clean.
Overall, I think my dad overhyped this place. If he ever brings up the idea of coming here, I’m just gonna let him down gently.
So I don’t recommend this place. It would be better to just go to in n out.

Amazing food. I’m actually typing this while I’m in here eating my food. I seen many people put bad ratings but hey everyone has different tastes. But by far best burger around here I moved here about 2 years ago and have not found a place I’d like. My husband stop by after eating bad shrimp tacos.
We came inside very clean.
The employees were very nice, polite and not pushy (we couldn’t decide what we wanted)
Love how there’s very minimal noise. The tvs aren’t too loud like other places.
My husband finished his burger which means he was very satisfied.
I would definitely come again.

I’ve been coming here for years and the food has always been okay. There really isn’t anything has been mind blowing amazing. It serves it’s purpose for a fast food restaurant and the service is eh. Nobody is ever really friendly and that’s kind of a downside to the hospitality industry.

Great burgers and classic breakfast. We ordered 4 burger combo for $ 20 and it took only about 10mins to get them all out including a pastrami sandwich and breakfast sandwich. The cleanliness is also improved since it burned down about 6 months ago
