My favorite bar in Lacombe.
Although to be fair it’s the only bar I’ve been to in Lacombe.
My friend and I decided to go crabbing in the marshes and drove up from New Orleans only to have it start pouring rain as soon as we got to the North Shore. We stopped in here just to get out of the car before heading back. I’m so glad we did.
One patron immediately bought us beers then the owner gave us a pound of crawfish, two more beers, and a shot of tequila… at which point I decided to cut myself off so that I could drive home later.
The crawfish were amazing! The best I’ve had this season and I shop at the Claiborne Cajun Seafood. (Lol). Now I have another reason to go to Lacombe.
