This place was great when it first opened. Now, it has gone WAY down hill. Its almost like they don’t care anymore. Too bad. I won’t be back.

Great roast beef sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised. the beef was tender and flavorful. The onion roll was fresh and the horse sauce was delicious. Great lunch stop for the whole family.

Friendly service and they make one hell of a roast beef sandwich, that’s for sure. I got the super beef with cheese and sauce and it definitely compares with some of my favorite roast beef joints back in MA.

Highly recommended! Great food and service. You have to try the super roast beef and order it as a 3 way!

Roast beef sandwich is well worth it. The pizza is TERRIBLE. TWICE Now I’ve ordered a extra cheese pie and both times I get what most pizza parlors would call a plain cheese pie. Once I ordered a plain cheese and couldn’t tell the difference same amt of cheese. Plus both times the pizza came out cheese burnt, too well done. Dont waste your $$ on the pizza, if you complain all you get in response from the mgr, is «Sorry not all pies are the same some people use too much ingredients I can’t control that». Unprofessional if you ask me.

I haven’t tried a lot here yet but what I have has been excellent. The roast beef is good(and I am not a roast beef fan — not even sure why I tried it). I will warn you — do NOT order the chicken cutlet pasta(chicken parm) dinner unless you want to eat it for 3 meals! Very good sized portion and sooo good. I have a friend who comes up from Salem MA and says this is better then his favorite Italian restaurant in the Boston area. I always eat way too much of it, thinking«just one more bite». I get it to go and have about a 15 mile drive(let me tell you — driving home smelling that the entire time is rough) and the dinner is still quite hot when I arrive home. The service is good, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I’ve heard the calzones are quite good here. Maybe next time if I can get past the chicken parm dinner!

Roast beef is very good. I have yet to order sandwich with a fresh roll. The bread you use is very stale. I’ve had day old, yours are better than a week old. They look terrible as well. Maybe it’s a storage problem.

Went to NH on a mini vacation. Lakeside has THE best roast beef sandwiches I’ve ever had! I went there every day I was there. So fresh, so delicious on a lightly toasted bun — the only way. You need to go. Saw the lobster rolls were totally packed too.

Cheese pizza was burnt, onion rings soggy, forgot toppings on another pizza. Very disappointing. When we went to exchange the burnt pizza they blamed the cheese they used, not sure why you’d send it out if you knew it was burnt. Annoying to have to go back to he restaurant a second time & hardly any apology or attempt to make it right. Won’t be back!

So much yummy food! My hubby and I stopped in during a visit to Weirs Beach. I had the steak and cheese grinder, he had ham and cheese, and we split a side of fries. We ended up barely touching the fries, we were too full! The steak was spilling out of my sandwich — I had to scoop it up with a fork. Staff was polite and friendly. Huge menu — I would definitely try the pizza and/or seafood on a return visit.

I stopped in to Lakeside Famous Roast Beef & Seafood in my quest to find really good pizza in the NH Lakes region. I had never been there before and I was driving, so I didn’t get a chance to call ahead. I just pulled in and walked inside. That’s not entirely accurate though, since the place was so busy, I couldn’t get all the way into the restaurant for nearly 5 minutes. I don’t mind the wait, I figured with it being so busy, the food had to be pretty good! Since I had never been, I ordered a couple things just to see what was good(for the next time). I got a small pizza with pepperoni and bacon and a steak and cheese sub. Despite the long line to get to order and the place being crazy-busy, after my order was in my food was ready pretty quickly. The man behind the counter apologized for the wait, which I thought was pretty nice of him, even though I expected to have waited longer judging by the crowd. As far as the food goes, I wasn’t impressed with the pizza. The small pizza was really small. I don’t know what size they advertise, but it seemed like it was an 8 inch pizza. And the price seemed kind of high for what I got. The taste of the pizza was fine. It was an Italian style crust and the cheese and toppings were tasty enough. The steak and cheese sub, however, was very good. The steak was delicious and the cheese was plentiful. I’d recommend this as the way to go, rather than the pizza. So, I’d say 3* for pizza(just okay for the price) and 4* for the sub(very good). I’ll definitely be going back for more steak and cheese.

We have been coming up to the lakes for years. It always seems we have a hard time getting good takeout let alone delivery. Hands down Lakeside is the BEST around! The roast beef sandwich is amazing(as old as Kelly’s). We have always received our food hot and the service has always been fabulous. The owner Dave really takes pride in his business and it shows. We will continue to patron such a nicely run place with FABULOUS food! Thanks lakeside we needed you!

I have ordered food from here many times. I find them very accommodating and very friendly. I have them deliver, and the drivers are always very friendly. The food is delicious! I have been to something that was catered by Lakeside, and it also was very good. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Dave and his crew are top notch; the food is always great, fresh and hot. Delivery is available for local customers and is always fast. If your looking for a quick, easy place for lunch, or a late night snack Lakeside is the place. Our favorite is the buffalo chicken calzone; but be aware — they are HUGE!

Lakeside Famous Roast Beef Pizza & Seafood opened up recently in a former Dunkin Donuts shop(a new Dunkin Donuts is directly across the street). I stopped here recently for dinner takeout on a busy Saturday evening. This order at the counter eatery offers roast beef sandwiches, pizza(by the slice or whole pie), calzones, pasta dinners, hot & cold subs, wraps/pitas, fried seafood(clams, scallops, shrimp, haddock) dinners & rolls, king lobster rolls, salads, New England clam chowder, steak tips, kabobs, chicken fingers & wings, fried appetizers, bagged Frito Lay chips, & Coke products from the cooler. The prices here are reasonable, subs/sandwiches $ 3.99-$ 7.00, pasta with bread $ 4.95-$ 8.75, dinner plates $ 7.50-$ 9.75, and seafood dinners $ 9.95-$ 17.95. Coupon specials are also offered on the menu. The food is made to order in the open kitchen area behind the counter. The roast beef is sliced to order. The pan pizzas are baked in the belt oven. There’s self serve table seating in the bright dining area. I ordered the Fish & Chips Dinner($ 9.95) and a Junior Roast Beef Sandwich($ 3.99) for takeout, given a receipt with number, which is called out when the order is ready. My order number was called out in about 10 minutes after ordering and I was given a small bag with my Jr Roast Beef Sandwich and«have a good night.» I quickly told the person who gave me my sandwich I also ordered Fish & Chips, which needed another minute to be ready and still being packed. I grabbed some condiments on the counter, but I did have to ask for tartar sauce. The fish & chips dinner was a good portion of battered haddock(2 pieces), shoestring fries, onion rings, and cole slaw. The food was very hot and the batter coating around the haddock came off. The shoestring fries were the very typical French fries, which were deep fried golden and unsalted(thank you!) The battered onion rings were deep fried golden and crisp, coating was coming off. The tartar sauce was very thick with plenty of pickle relish in a mayo mix. The cup of cole slaw was very good and refreshing, crisp chopped cabbage in a creamy and zesty dressing. The Jr Roast Beef Sandwich was okay, which had a good amount of small thin slices rare(very red) roast beef with horseradish(my choice) on a soft toasted bun. I prefer my roast beef medium well. The food I had tasted pretty good and the fish & chips was not too greasy. I would probably return here for lunch or dinner if I’m driving through Laconia. 3.40÷5.00 DELIVERY is available.
