Love Dr. Slawek and his team! He was recommended to me by my dentist. The office is beautiful, the equipment is state-of-the art, the staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and Dr. Slawek is a fantastic orthodontist! I am very pleased with the results of my Invisalign so far. I have recommended him to friends and family, and recommend him to you as well!

Dr. Steve means so much to me and my family. Not only did I, as a little girl, watch his dream become a reality but he too watched mine. He heard me announce, at age 9, «i’m going to be a lawyer when I grow up». He watched, followed, and supported(although i’ll never let that Vanderbilt law thing go away Steve…) as I made my way through high school, college, law school, and now a lawyer. After reading this, I hope you decide to start your memories with Dr. Slawek. They are wonderful memories. I first met Dr. Slawek about 20 years ago when I was in 2nd grade. Dr. Slawek was in his first«office»(in the building next to OMC in Chestnut Hill) which consisted of a room with a chair for patients, a smaller subdivided area with waiting chairs, and a receptionist(Betty I think her name was). Dr. Steve was his staff/employee of the month/and boss all in one and did everything there is to do for every single patient that walked through his door. I had braces from 2nd grade until 8th grade(and then my younger sister needed braces as well as my younger brother). You know that beautiful pool they enjoy every summer? The Charlick’s had a little something to do with that! [No pool? Think of something extravagent you bought, then associate that with the Charlick’s ;)] Anyway, over the years, I watched as his tiny 1 room office turned into 5 rooms. I was there when he hired his first assistant. I was even there when they first came out with COLORED bands for your braces(black and orange was my «go to» October colors)! After 5 years of wearing braces, my braces came off, and I was ready to stop seeing Dr. Slawek. By this point, he had taken over the entire bottom floor of the building. He had tons of employees and many, many rooms! Upon returning to Pennsylvania, two decades later, I went back to that building in Chestnut Hill to say hi to Dr. Steve but he wasn’t there. I found an address for a new office and thought I would surprise him in his office suite so I drove to the location. It was the most overwhelming feeling! He wasn’t in a tiny room, nor was he located in the bottom floor of someone else’s building. He has his own practice now with a beautiful multi-level building. There is even a huge sign out front with the words«Slawek» on it. Not only did I see him grow professionally, but I also watched the single picture of his daughter in that tiny room, turn into an entire wall of pictures of all of his children. It was in that moment when the memories started rushing back. Dr. Slawek remembers the Karate uniforms that my brother, sister, and I would have on during our appointments. He remembers hearing the slamming of the building door, followed by running and tackling, and knew that the Charlick’s were there. My point in all of this is for you, the potential client, to get an insider’s perspective. You can google/read about his credentials, his achievements, and other things of that nature that make him Dr. Stephen Slawek, the top orthodontist. But it’s much more difficult to find a review about Dr. Steve, the person. You are investing a lot into your smile(trust me, a WHOLELOT, at least I did). As you see, my relationship started 20 years ago and hasn’t stopped. Dr. Slawek started as my orthodontist but I have gained a life long friend with a childhood full of happy memories. And of course, my million dollar smile(Dr. Slawek– still waiting on that first million to roll in…).
