I had a lymphatic massage with Ilyse Streim at the CHHC and it was amazing. I was so relaxed and felt rejuvenated and healthful afterwards. It was a different sort of massage, not so much going deep into the muscles but more a working of the surface of the skin to improve lymph function. I thought it was the perfect massage to stay well during cold season and I really felt good after. The Holistic Health Center has lots of cool offering in general, both in terms of goods and services. They have all sort of healing stones, art, and various herbs, like sage, for sale in their main area and the rest of the building has spaces for the many practitioners of all sorts(acupuncture, massage, reiki, meditation) that work there. They also host a lot of classes. I’m looking forward to checking out one of their health fairs(Wednesdays and Saturdays 10 – 2 I think) where, by donation, you can sample a number of different practitioners work.
