They are very sweet here but I’ve been going for leg waxing and it is too expensive and not a very good job. Every time there is a stripe they missed and today it cost $ 45 for half a leg!!! Way too much for a sloppy job.

Great place– super low key, they are nice, great pedicure and brow waxes. I used to go to Lavande, but it was too pretentious, stumbled upon this place while at the Learning Express toy store(next door).

I had a gift certificate and went in for a basic mani pedi yesterday. They did a good job cleaning up my messy toenails, and shaping my fingernails, but I ruined the polish on my hands when I put my hand into my bag to pull out my wallet… three hours after the manicure. During the manicure, I saw the manicurist putting thinner into the bottle, and I should have had her restart with another color. Lesson learned! The polish was so thick it didn’t dry. The good news is they did do a good job cleaning and shaping, so I went home later in the evening, took off the polish and put on my own, and now my nails look great. Pros: + Convenient location + Nice massage chairs + Clean and spacious + Nice pedicure Cons: — Manicure 101: Don’t use thickened polish. This should be one thing a professional nail salon gets right! — No UV tables to bake the manicure(they have mini stations for gel manicures) I will be trying other salons in the area.

Came in for a shellac manicure, «Kathy» began by putting on the first coat and the color immediately shrank to the center of my nail. Asked if this could be fixed? She puts on 4 more coats of the color making them lumpy and still the color shrank away from the cuticles and from the top of my nail. Kept pointing it out to her asking if this could be fixed, says that some colors have problems… Okay? Before she put on the top coat I was fed up and asked for it all the be removed. Started filing it off, still wet and got all over the place as well as now my nails are ruined and scratched in all different directions. Someone else finished taking off the awful mess, while asking me the whole time if I want another shellac manicure, hah no thanks and I still got charged 15 $ for a «manicure», while I left unhappy, wasted 2.5 hours and my nails look worse than when I came in. No care for customer happiness, don’t go here, I’m shocked they are still open.

Love this place! The shellac ACTUALLY stays on, doesn’t chip or peel, even when I cut and file my nails! So thankful my gf told me about this place. The cost isn’t too bad either. I believe the Shellac mani and Pedi is $ 45. But for a shellac mani that seriously stays, I am willing to pay that price! The place is clean tidy and ALWAYS ready when you make an appointment. Some places always overbook and then make you wait… like whats the point of making the appointment then! They have a serious collection of shellac colors too!

Great pedicure! Called four salons and Crystal’s was the only one that would squeeze me in and I’m so glad they did! Wonderful massage and you can’t beat the price!

This place is the best salon I have been to since moving to California almost 3 years ago. Tony and Tina are wonderful! Very talented, hospitable, sweet, generous, and kind. Doesn’t matter if you want pink n whites, mani, pedi, shellac(I’ve tried them all), they so a perfect job. The store is well ventilated, very clean, spacious, and inviting. I always look forward to coming.

My cuticles have never been so wrecked in my life. This was the most awkward mani-pedi experience I’ve ever had. First off, the TVs would playing National Geographic content showing random animals all over the world eating their babies… I’d rather watch the news on silent. Then Lauren said my legs were too long. Excuse me? I’m sure she meant it as some kind of compliment, maybe? Then she said my nails were too short. I can’t with with her, damn! If you’re looking for a relaxing message in the message chair, just forget it. Terrible. I paid $ 55 for a mani-pedi!!! The most I think I’ve ever paid. Then my coworker pays, and hers was $ 35. Maybe it’s because my legs are too long… Never coming back.

I have been coming here for about 6 months now, I am originally from San Jose and having many nail salons to chose from I never thought it would be difficult to find a nail salon where they really do a great job at a decent price! However, I came across this place on accident I have never turned back the massage chairs are amazing, the place is very clean, they use a new file and stone every time and that are very friendly. I usually always go to Nickki she is pretty awesome! It is always a very relaxing experience! As long as I live in Moraga, I don’t see myself going anywhere else!

I have never had anything but an amazing experience here. I ended up there one day bc my nail salon wasn’t open and I never left! My nails are always immaculate and the pedicures are the best! They use the best smelling scrubs I can’t get enough. Tina is phenomenal I show her something and she makes it happen!

On the recommendation of my sister-inlaw, Amy, I decided to give Crystal Nails a try. As usual, I bring my own polish so I can touch up any chips etc. that are sure to happen after several days. Nikki did my mani/pedi. Another woman started my manicure while I was in the massage chair until her next client arrived. That was great for the sake of saving some time. Initially, I wasn’t thrilled about getting my nails done at the same time as it’s usually done to hurry me out. But not in this case; they both did their job perfectly, taking lots of time for the massage and making sure that my nails were prepped with care. Couple things I’ll keep in mind for my next visit — there is complimentary 2-hour parking in the lot adjacent to their building(next to Uncle Yu’s restaurant). Today I parked at a meter on the street so no problem, but free is always good too. Also, they prefer to not have their tip put on a credit card. Unfortunately, I only had a few bucks cash on me today, they did allow me to add it to my charge but I’ll know to bring some of the green stuff next visit. I really enjoyed my mani/pedi at Crystal Nails and will tell my friends and clients about my great experience.

I go to this place often for pedicures and waxing. Each time they greet me by my name and are very friendly. This place is walking distance to me so the location is very ideal. I love that it’s right on the Main Street and I can look out the windows while relaxing in their comfy massage chairs. Pedicures are great and they use this salt scrub I love. I will definitely go back soon!

The salon is nice and clean. The price were reasonable and service was worth the 25 dollar pedicure. Definitely will try coming back next month.
