We moved from new Mexico to Lafayette Indiana. They were very efficient and excellent in helping us find our perfect house here in Indiana. When we arrived in Indiana, all of our paperwork etc was ready to go. Hurray! We were in constant contact with them so they knew about a week in advance when to expect us. I was happy to see they used their prep time. Except, we can’t get into our house. Apparently nobody thought about keys. So we have been sitting outside our house, in sub zero temperatures, in a moving truck and car with two kids, two dogs, and two adults for about an hour and half. We have up to another two hours to wait before they can send their guy to let us in. We were finally able to break in just before 1600, after 4 hours of waiting. The maintenance guy who replaced/​Re-​keyed the locks was great. We appreciated all of his efforts.
On Feb 4, I received a text from our contact at KCB, the screen shot of which I have posted.
To be fair we did move into the home on Jan 27,2014. A full 3.5 days early. We were not charged the pro rated amount which would have been $ 210, for 4 days. This has been used against us since we moved in. The day we tried to move in and had to wait for keys we were told we were being gifted for 5 days free. And today with this text we were told again.
I would have happily paid the pro rated amount and been able to move in without a hitch. I also would have happily paid the pro rated amount of I had known we would have had menacing type of texts sent since.
I think the evidence speaks for itself as to what you can expect. We have been here for 8 days now. This has been our experience.
