We decided to purchase our new carpeting from a local Lafayette store. We saw an ad in the Lamorinda news and decided to go there to look at some samples. The first person we met was Jim Marshall. He was very cordial and friendly while showing us samples that might meet our requirements. After a subsequent visit to our home to take measurements, we decided to buy from him His follow up to our many questions and requests were prompt and complete. His installation crew did a great job installing our new carpeting. It looks great !

We contracted with Lamorinda to refinish a very large area of old flooring and to install new hardwood in another large area. We are more than satisfied with the work done. The work was due to be done last July and, a day before they were to start, my husband became ill and we had to cancel our job. They were extremely understanding, not charging a cancellation fee or keeping our deposit. We were able to reschedule for during the holidays. Scott, who installed the new flooring was great. He actually finished the job ahead of schedule! Scott had great ideas and was always willing to listen to our concerns and discuss them. Brian, who refinished the old flooring, did an amazing job matching the old floors to the darker new hardwood and making the two different types of hardwood mesh. Brian stayed quite late more than one night in oder to finish on time (and he did) and even came back on a Saturday afternoon to re-​hang the doors. Our sales rep, Jim, was a delight to work with. Returned calls promptly and did everything possible to meet our needs. Absolutely a great company to work with.

For a surprise birthday present, I had the 25-​year old outdated linoleum replaced with wood laminate in guest bathroom of my ranch home and wow, what a difference! The estimator came all the way out to my rural home with samples, took measurements and offered some excellent suggestions as I had no clue what would look good. The installers showed up on time a few days later, did a nice efficient job, and were gone by the time the birthday boy arrived home… he was very pleased with both the new bathroom floor and I was very pleased with Lamorinda Floors.
