Really chill awesome burgers and the staff is really nice! Haven’t been to the other locations but I will certainly be making my rounds

One of the juiciest burgers I’ve ever had. If your under 21 you can’t go in but they allow you to sit outside. And the service is very good. Been here many times and had a great time every time.

I’ve been to the Legends on Johnston St. twenty times and this joint about the same number. I gave Johnston’s Legends a 5 star review due to the excellent draft beer, fabulous burgers, salads, wraps, and overall good service.
I can’t give Bertrand Johnston’s more than 3 stars — no draft beer, and if you want anything other than a burger or chicken sandwich you’re out of luck. Bartenders are good and friendly, and its a good place to watch the Saints, but if you want some draft brew or some variety in your chow, I’d hit Legends on Johnston.

I got so drunk here off three drinks! I told my Lafayette friends that I just wanted to chill in a dive and get wasted one last time before I had to get up and drive home to San Antonio. So they drove me around downtown and we settled on Legends. The Bartender knew my friends from the time he spent working at a bar called the Caboose, and had him make us something called a Hurricane Dennis! I’m not sure what it was. But I was feeling great after the first one, even better after the second, shouldn’t have got a third, but what the hell, I’m on vacation, right?
The Internet Juke Box is a little suspect. I put ten dollars in it and never heard a single song I played and we pretty much stayed till closing time. I went to go check it out and it said it was playing one of my songs, but the song playing was definitely not my song. But it’s whatever I guess, if I were a local I would’ve known better.

I can not even begin to express how disappointed I am in what took place tonight. I am in the service industry. I have come to Legends several times a week for the past month. I think the food is amazing. I think most of the bartenders are amazing. I love the fact they they give people in the industry 50% off of drinks. I have always left over a 20% tip nightly. I have been kind, and appreciative EVERY single night. Well, tonight, I was told by «Tattu» that my tips sucked because I should know (being in the service industry) that I should leave more. The last time I was there I left $ 30.00 on a $ 19.00 tab. I told him this, and he said «NO you didn’t. I know EVERYTHING.» I was stunned. I will no longer frequent this place because of what took place tonight. I have talked to the management about this particular issue and felt like it was resolved. «Tattu’s» behavior tonight solidified my assumption that this is not a place to go to unwind. I will find another place to enjoy my time off from work. SAD.

One of the best burgers in Lafayette, period. Also has a full bar and amazing staff! Loved by locals and always recommended by everyone for Ragin’ Cajun football and baseball games. Their margaritas are the best in Lafayette also.

If you are looking for a place to get one of the best late night hamburgers ever… Legends is it… burgers cooked on none other than a George Foreman Grill. Hawaiian Burger is my favorite!!! Great place to go when you aren’t worried about spending money, or having to get dressed up…

Pros: Good happy hour deals. Great margaritas. Comfortable patio when the weather is nice. The perfect place if you want to just pop in for a beer or two.
Cons: When there is a decent crowd, service if often overwhelmed and slow. Parking is very limited. Inside is usually freezing cold and completely smoked out. Two small TV’s outside that can only be seen from some seats.

This is a great place to go and hangout with friends. You can sit inside and listen to music (and talk because its not too loud) or sit outside and watch a game. This place wont kill the pocket book either as the drinks are not any more expensive than any other bar you’ll go to.
