After thinking I’d never have real tacos again I found this amazing and friendly food truck while working at the West Lafayette Farmers Market where you can find them weekly during season. Traditional tacos, this isn’t Taco Bell. I’m talking two small tortillas filled with the succulent and juicy meat of your choice topped with simple cilantro and onions. They also offer burritos and quesadillas. If you want a drink to wash it all down your options are limited, but hey it’s about the food here. You may have a few minutes to wait for your order, but it’s well worth it. Follow them on Facebook to find out where they’ll be for the day and check them out.

After being a Purdue student for 4 years I have finally found the real Mexican food I have been looking for. Oddly enough I found it outside Harry’s Chocolate Shop on a Thursday evening. Theur menu consists os the basic burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and tacos. I would strongly recommend the steak burrito. They arent flashy in their ingredients and they let the components of the burrito speak for themselves. No special sauces. Just tasting the pure, bold, spicy steak is reward enough. Topped with fresh tomatoes and savory cheese, you have the best burrito in West Lafayette. Im constantly convincing my friends to try L Kora out, especially over Famous Frank’s which is right next door. Dodge the line at Frank’s and choose true culinary excellence at L Kora.

FINALLY, salvation from bad«Mexican» food!!! After moving 3 years ago from Los Angeles to Lafayette, IN, I’ve been in a perpetual search of real, authentic Mexican food and found nothing, until Lkora. I’m very impressed and I hope they gain popularity and stay! I’ve tried the asada tortas, the asada quesadilla, the choirzo burrito and the asada tacos. Everything was tasty, flavorful and smelled delicious but the tacos in particular were worth this review on their own. Exactly like the ones back home, they transported me 2,100 miles away in one bite. **Notes: Everything is about $ 5. The menu is limited as a food truck should be to maintain high quality dishes. Quesadillas, tacos, burritos and tortas with steak(asada), chicken or chorizo sausage. Drinks are Coke(can) $ 1, and bottled water. The tortas are great but mostly bread(albeit, the roll is VERY good), the quesadillas are SO tasty, but I was wishing for salsa. Don’t just order 3 tacos and walk away, you’ll just find yourself in line again. They’re not small, they’re just incredibly good. The only thing that would make this truck complete perfection for me would be the inclusion of carnitas, but it’s just greed on my part. I’ll be back, probably tomorrow. And the next day.,.
