Planet Fitness – Lafayette – Sagamore Pkwy

I just love this place and it is probably the best spent $ 19 You really get a lot for your money. All the gym machines, tanning, massage machines, classes & advice from the personal trainer. I worked with Brad, the new trainer and he spent a lot of time with me giving me ideas and tips and making sure that I had a good understanding of the plan I was put on. Most of my experience with personal trainers was they tell you what they want to see you do and send you on your way. Brad is not like that at all and does a fantastic job would highly recommend working with him. I usually go at night and all of the «night guys» are great. Jason & Justin always very friendly and helpful.

This is a very neat and clean gym. Plenty of machines during the day. I can’t speak to how packed they are during peak, as I don’t think I’ve seen it. This facility offers several tanning beds, including a couple stand ups, for their black card members. The 30-​min circuit is nice, as is the 12-​min abs circuit. The locker area is always clean and the water fountain has a dispenser for bottles.
The only down side I have seen is that some of the staff are rather uppity. Most of the staff is helpful and appears to be enjoying work. There are always those that sully that though and boy did I run into her yesterday. It felt like such an inconvenience for this young lady to be bothered at the front desk. How dare I come sign up to use the tanner or massagers? I know, I know, I’ll accept the blame for attempting to use the amenities available to me. This girl may have simply been having a bad day or maybe her dog just died, but she was quite a poor face for the company. Maybe let’s not have someone with an attitude at the desk. It’s hard enough for me to motivate to go to the gym, it would be nice to have a positive person to greet me. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
