Carey Stephens (the «Master Craftsman of England») has been repairing/refinishing furniture for over 30 years and he certainly knows what he’s doing. He just refinished a 50+ year old wood gaming/card table that’s been in my family from when it was new– and now it truly looks new– and beautiful. Carey turned a somewhat downtrodden piece into a true collector’s item. I had taken it to another refinisher first, who was unsure that he could properly restore it. Not so with Carey. He was confident in his approach and his work, is highly skilled, and reasonably priced. We will be taking additional work into Carey and know he will do a fine job.
