A refreshing, musical arts education studio in the Lafayette area has arrived! Studio L opened its doors back in the Summer/Fall transition with its official grand opening January 30, 2011. Home to a variety of learning methodologies and instruments, the common thread throughout the studios is the necessary core of feeling the music while learning technique and music theory! Current studios include: Rhythm Lounge Studios — PIANO — with Lorraine Williams. Simply Music method of learning piano brings the student beyond scale drills and into the often forgotten area of connecting those notes with keyboard touch and rhythm.(She’s also a killer singer in her own right!) Leslie Noël Studios — VOCAL — This well known performer, director, producer brings vocal and theatrical forte to the learning experience. Her local productions have brought youth musical theater performance to a higher level and has inspired a certain bug to study voice. Kris Olson Studios — VIOLIN — Suzuki instruction from a joyful violinist with 35 years of patient, teaching experience.
