Subway, eat fresh! This Subway is my local favorite. It’s clean, friendly, and super convenient when on the south side of Lafayette, IN. Cool Fact: This Subway has a Drive-Thru! That’s a rare find for me living in the Midwest. Generally you might see Subways in Walmart’s and stuff, and almost always a park and walk in — have them make your sandwich — and then dine in or carry out. I think most people carry out when it comes to Subways, so the drive through is a neat convenience that most Subway’s don’t provide. The food is fresh. It’s SUBWAY, lol. Is it filling? Well — it is Subway… I will say this for here and the whole chain — can I have some meat with my bread? I am a carnivore, not a carBivore, or a bunny. I don’t want bread and veggies, I want meat! Three little pieces folded in half? When I get bacon it costs extra for three thin small pieces too. Efforts made for protein cost more and provide minimal! As my followers know, I eat everything. I have no dietary restrictions. My diet is the«See-Food» diet(See Food, eat food!) I’ll try anything you place in front of me. Put me on Fear Factor even… As long as I won’t get sick, I’ll try anything… TWICE! The second time just to make sure I am positive if I like or dislike something. HOWEVER, when I am not fine dining, eating Sushi or Thai, or being gross with fast food — I prefer to eat healthy as a rule of thumb. So my lean secret is not like Jerry to skip cheese & walk miles daily for this near«veggie sandwich.» I like high protein, low fat, low simple carbohydrates. Being a woman — that’s so much BREAD for the small amount of meat. Also, to fill it up nutritiously we need veggies. So, cucumbers start with three thin slices. Extra cucumbers is three more for a six inch sub. Ok, then it is, «thank you, can I please have a ton of cucumbers? I can’t wait for it to SUPERCRUNCH every bite!» Problem solved. Every subway. The price for double the meat makes me want to just go to Walmart and get my own lean turkey to add and have for sandwiches at home the whole week. The Subway menu and freshness here is normal expectations. The drive thru availability makes it convenient. The branch is a great, clean, well kept building and location. Subway as a chain I wish would provide some meat, like seriously. Also, more than 3 cucumber slices and 2 tomatoes. But, this is Subway. That’s the menu. I could lose weight with no cheese, bread only with lean three slices of meat and a couple veggies. I think this subway is great, however I don’t eat here as often as the other fast foods on the south side due to shorter hours and the desire for some meat with my bread. Overall, this is a great Subway. But it’s a chain as expected. While I believe this one is kept fresh, and is very clean, I just love the food but never have enough protein from Subway. I still go. It’s the healthier fast food option always… But I want my meat! Also, extra veggies means please give a handful, not three more thin slices spread out! This is just the Subway chain though. I think they are trained like this.

I’ve noticed lately that Subways sandwiches are less than they used to be. The fact that I have to ask for extra, extra vegetables for my veggie delight is ridiculous. Hardly a filling sandwich for the price. I’d rather spend a bit more to get a real sandwich thanks.

Kind of out of the way, but this place gets good business. Workers from SIA show up here on occasion, and is frequented by Ivy Tech faculty, staff and students. Nice, newer Subway, good service, you know the menu.
