The Pink Walrus is a nice change of pace from Culvers and Igloo. The one thing that makes this place desirable is the fact that you CREATEYOUROWNDISH. Yeah! I don’t have to wait for someone to make me a cup and I can load as much stuff as I want to in my cup! Plus I get rewarded for subsequent returns? Winner! And you can’t beat the cute décor that appeals to kids and adults.

Many flavors. Cookie and cream is amazing. The Vanilla is DELICIOUS then you can top it with as many things as you want. But it does add up QUICK!!!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for… FroYo! …Healthier than ice cream! I love this place. It’s well decorate inside and one of the cleanest FroYo places I have ever seen. We all love those free sample test taste cups at these places, but the machines drip after. The staff are quick to clean up after any drop you make. The inside is decorated colorful and cute. The flavors are great and while I have no diet restrictions, I love the variety of flavors and the options for fat free here. I have a friend that is a pain in the butt doing the gluten free thing, but here we can go! I think most of all of the fro yo here is gluten free, if not, they at least have the options available to meet most anyone’s dietary needs. The fat free, sugar free, low fat, gluten free — it’s all here! The toppings though, well that’s up to you! That is where you can add up those calories or leave them off staying healthy, lean, or clean to your diet if you have restrictions. I personally try to be good but get excited for the magical toppings available like the colorful cookie dough like rainbow cake sprinkles and I LOVE Mochi when they have it here or at these places. I wish they would keep the Mochi on the toppings for always. There is fudge, carmel, sauces, and tons of toppings available. The only hard thing is price. These FroYo industry has expanded and these places can all get very expensive really fast as you fill up that big bowl and pay by weight. I can easily spend $ 8 on a bowl of FroYo here. It’s delicious and better than getting two tubs of ice cream at Walmart around the corner which is not healthy for the same price but you do have to watch yourself to avoid a big bill. Tip: Fill like a third of the big bowl with FroYo, then fill to about a half with all of your toppings. Pick toppings in baby spoonfuls or pick light weight toppings.(Sprinkles, coconut — I like, Mochi i love, cake) and keep the heavy gooey sauces and heavy weight appearing toppings to a minimum. I’ll spoon out like three slices of cut up strawberries for example. My half bowl is plenty of dessert(the bowls at these places are misleading as well as the fun topping adventures) but you get full very fast trying to eat a full heavy weight bowl! I try to keep my bowl price to be near $ 4 instead of $ 8. The pricing is done by weight, like all the FroYo places. This one is no different. Clean: 5⁄5 Fun choices of flavors and toppings: 4⁄5(I want Mochi permanent!) Price: 4⁄5 — it really adds up in those big yummy bowls! Hours: 4⁄5(sometimes I wish they could be open a little later — so not complaining, just a personal preference for a late night FroYo craver.) Healthy w/care to those having dietary needs or requests: 5⁄5 Staff: 4⁄5 Inside: 4⁄5. Super clean, very fun inside feel, but it’s SOOO open I feel like I am being watched for my next drip test tasting flavors. For example — I would like some privacy level as i adventure my fun tour creating my bowl of yummy dessert. I feel like I am being watched in this wide open place. They don’t mean it. It is just their job to clean dribbles, fill the toppings, and WAIT for me to finally come check out. It’s not a packed place like a downtown city — so the staff are great but might get bored here. They do a great job there is nothing left to do. The cleanliness and stock is MAINTAINED well here. I want to make my ice cream with my peeps, not with an audience! *blush* Overall: 4⁄5. I like here and continually return. It’s on the south side of Lafayette so it’s a convenient location I feel. I always have a good experience, never any problems or concerns. It’s truly just another FroYo place but I can certainly say it’s a happy, fun, clean, GOOD one! I’ll continue going back to this one and continue watching my portion as I must at any FroYo. Toppings get exciting very fast! Lol. Delicious! I hope this FroYo remains! It’s truly a great one in the Lafayette/West Lafayette/Purdue area!

Take you wallet. This stuff isn’t cheap. Nothing special. Just expensive. Been one time. Won’t go back.

Pink Walrus always has a nice selection of frozen yogurts available«on tap». The only problem is that they don’t label egg allergens on any of their products. I had to track down an employee to check, and even then sometimes they don’t know. Other allergens are listed in plain view with no need to risk or guess. Prices seem a bit high in comparison to other local places. The store is kept spotlessly clean. I’d be a much bigger fan(and more frequent customer) if Pink Walrus would start to label products containing egg so that I don’t have to spend time tracking an employee and the ingredient book down.

My favorite place! You fill a cup with froyo, which changes seasonally. Then add toppings! Careful not to fill the cup too much, that is how they make their money! We love this place — when on a diet we kept talking about how we couldn’t wait to visit!

I love this place! It has such a large selection of toppings and flavors that are all delicious. The bar are with all the toppings is huge and everything is always stocked, the place is large too so it is nice to actually be able to sit and enjoy the yogurt!

I have been to several by-the-ounce yogurt places like this, and this has been my least favorite. Of the 3 flavors I tried, only one was good(angel food cake). The cotton candy tasted like blue raspberry and the cake batter had a black licorice taste to it, both of which are my go-to flavors. I was very disappointed. They have cute décor and a good variety of flavors and toppings, but I would definitely choose Orange Leaf and drive out of my way rather than come here.

Mmmmmm. Frozen yogurt is so delicious. I could probably eat at Pink Walrus three times a day and be fine with it. Red Mango is good, but it’s not as good as this place. They have about 10 different flavors of frozen yogurt, which they rotate occasionally, and a huge array of toppings. They charge you by the ounce, which I think is pretty typical of frozen yogurt places. My personal favorite is the peanut butter yogurt, but I don’t think you can go wrong with any selection. Be prepared to wait for a while if you happen to go at a popular time!

Been to several of these«build your own» yogurt places. This ranks near the bottom. All yogurt flavors tasted more artificial than most places and the toppings bar was mediocre. The place was loud, crowded, and very disorganized. Most of these types of places have more room to «mingle» around the yogurt to try different flavors and this place only had one topping bar.

Build your own yogurt sundae at The Pink Walrus. There is a good selection of yogurt — low fat, no fat, and sugar free. You can even mix flavors. There is a wide selection of toppings including different sauces and hot fudge and caramel. The cost is 46 cents per ounce so be careful! The key is not to go overboard on the yogurt since it is the heaviest thing in your bowl. It’s quite a treat!

Found one of these while living in California and wished I had one back home. A year later I got that wish! The atmosphere is fun, and very inviting. It’s not rocket science to create your own sundae but the toppings are endless and that’s where your creative streak comes in. They change their toppings around holidays also which is a different concept. Fav flavors so far are angel food cake and red velvet but they change them around frequently so you’ll find plenty more. All around a must to check out but be aware it is going to be busy especially on weekends, but well worth a small wait. It’s located next to Monster Golf and Walmart.

This is an awesome new business! They have a wide variety of frozen yogurt flavors to choose from and a TON of different toppings! The possibilities are endless! You make your own bowl and then pay by the weight. The atmosphere is great too! Right when I walked in, I knew i was going to enjoy myself. The walls are all painted bright colors and the chairs, tables, and booths all follow in kind. They thought of everything, down to awesome light fixtures. An overall great experience. They totally impressed me on first visit and I will defiantly visit again!
