Tropicanoe Cove

Lots and family fun here. My son was too small (under 48″) for most of the water rides, but he still enjoyed the splash fountains, wading pool, dolphin slide and we both loved the inner tube lazy river ride.
Lots of lifeguards are posted here and many nice people help keep the kiddos safe. Life vests are available for extra precaution and a few different pools to play in make it fun for all ages.
No refunds if the weather turns rainy, so plan accordingly.

I am a huge Waterpark and Roller Coaster junkie. This is totally a family place, not anything for a «thrill seeker» but is a very nice clean place to visit when you live locally. The rates are very cheap too. (Not priced like a huge real more expensive waterpark). I like to call this the «Gloried Town Pool» since it is for the community, but is sooo much more than a town pool could ever offer. There is one slide here, the Banana Peel, that is a single person at a time tube slide. It is actually fun and goes faster than you would imagine! There is a lazy river, kiddy land, and two little slides to drop you off into a six foot pool. Very clean. Very relaxing for an adult for a day (I have read a book before in the lazy river to be honest), and VERY fun and safe place I would recommend to families and grandparents to take their kids for a day. It isn’t very big, but there is PLENTY to do there for a day. I am not a mom, but feel this is an EXTREMELY safe place to even lay on a lawn chair and let your kids play freely (not many places like that in the world anymore). There are lifeguards galore, which is annoying to an adult, however it shows the place is not afraid to pay for supervision (even if it is a gazillion 16 year old lifeguards every ten feet in the 2.5 foot deep lazy river for example), but that is soooo nice because the slides, lazy river, kiddy land, and pool are regulated safely. The lifeguards are young, however they are very polite and quick to blow the whistle about something as simple as someone being out of a tube in the lazy river. GREAT FAMILY PLACE OR PLACE FOR KIDS WITHOUT A DOUBT. For a single adult, I enjoy a day in the lazy river and a few slides down the slide myself even! Oh yeah, also there is a Dippin’ Dots ice cream stand. Very cute oi water park for a town to have. It is connected to a really nice park for the kids too (Columbia Park). Also, a free little town zoo! Families need to come here for a day. It’s kid heaven in this small town of Lafayette IN! :)
