U-Haul

I have had the worst experience ever with UHaul. I will be posting this on Facebook and Unilocal and anywhere else I can fine and never will I use UHaul again, I’ll go with Penske and will spread word as far and wide as possible!!!
1. I reserved a 26′ truck 3 weeks prior to move, 1 day before I was to pick up the truck, they called to tell me that they only had a 20′ truck available withing 200 miles. I had to rent two trucks at twice the cost.
2. We broke down in the middle of nowhere in New Mexico, a tire blew and shredded at night, miles from any service. Took almost two hours to get back on the road.
3. The truck leaked when it rained, ruining both of my beds, my tv, several pictures and boxes. And, the insurance won’t pay for it.
Such a crappy company!!!

Very easy to deal with. Office manager Amy is friendly and does good work.
We paid around $ 80 to use a 14′ truck with built-​in loading ramp for most of the
day. That includes the mileage charge for our drive of roughly 50 miles, and
collision-​damage waiver (or whatever they call it).
We hated lugging stuff around, but Amy made it easier for us.
I would have liked paying less, but then, I always say that!
