Wanted to try different mediterranean places around Lafayette, and this was on the list. The service was somewhat slow, and that day, they seemed short handed. However, it was during lunch time, and they had a full house. The waiter, maybe also owner, was very friendly and fast. He seemed to be a people person, and everyone loved him. We had the following: — Chicken Shawerma Plate — chicken shawerma served with rice, hummus and feta salad — the chicken was good but was a little dry — Combination Plate — gyro and chicken shawerma served with rice, hummus and feta salad — again, the chicken was a little dry, but the gyro was good! The rice was okay, the hummus was delicious and the feta salad was also delicious! I shall continue to the next mediterranean restaurant.

The best lamb I have had down here. And the price is inexpensive too. We had 6 people, with 6 entrees, 4 sodas, 2 martinis, 90 bucks, and we were so full, and the root beer is free refill. I like the tomboy style waitress, launch time she was the only waiter there, we had to wait for while have orders and drinks. But anyway, the lamb was so good!

My husband and I just went to lunch here today. So yummy! The pick 5 lunch special was perfect for a first visit. For $ 10.99 you can sample practically the whole menu. The gyro meat was the best I’ve ever had. The tabouleh was truly scrumptious! Certainly worth a try! We’ll be back!

Par boiled rice is never acceptable in rice pilaf. Decent kibbe and cucumber/yogurt sauce but food is bland in comparison to an excellent Lebanese restaurant in the New Orleans area. In addition, poor service tonight; waitress had not been sufficiently trained to serve alone and made 3 errors; wrong entrée, served me two side salads and wrong drink. Her humbleness more than made up for it.

I ate here with my boyfriend for dinner while passing through Lafayette. The atmosphere of this place lacks warmth. With institutional chairs, random Mediterranean décor, and the sound of owner scolding the chef, the whole experience felt a little odd. The food was decent but a little over-priced. The veggie kibbi was pretty tasty, and the veggie moussaka was one of the best I’ve had. Better than expected given the décor! All-in-all, recommended for the occasional take-out meal.

Great food. This is the best Greek salad in the state of Louisiana. Trust me, I’ve eaten them all

My husband and I wanted to try Greek food for the first time. This place is close to my work so I chose this location. Let me just say the food is amazing. We are officially hooked on Zeus! The fried Kubi, the grape leaves, the meats, the amazing bread, I could go on and on but yeah everything is delicious. The staff is so nice and the owners actually talk to you. This is by far one of our favorite restaurants.

This Zeus is fancier than the other ones around town. It has a really nice atmosphere inside to go on a date, or just to hang out with friends. We went here a few years ago for a friend’s birthday and we took up the padded area and had a belly dancer. Recently I went with my coworkers and we dined outside under an umbrella. It was great fun. The food was delicious and the service was fast, friendly, and hilarious.

I eat here on a regular basis and it is constantly a great experience. The service is excellent and the food is always great. I recommend the Chicken Arabie Sandwich and the Combination Gyro and Chicken Fattoush salad for lunch. Zeus is also the perfect place to try Greek food if you have never had it before. I often recommend this place to coworkers and they always enjoy the food here. Some who visit it crave it because the food is that good.

Food was good… and they give large portions. Service was also good. I would eat here again.

I’m a big fan of this place. It’s in a great location, and their food is fantastic. I find that where ever I go for Greek food, I am always comparing it to this place. Grape leaves, hummus, gyro, chicken schwarma… it’s all fantastic!

My brother and I love to go to Zeus for lunch. I find myself craving the Grecian Dip all the time. It’s served with warm pita bread and quite addictive. I also LOVE the combination platter featuring gyros, chicken schwarma, rice, feta salad, and hummus. When I’m feeling a little healthier, I got for the feta salad with chicken schwarma on top. It’s yummy! My brother loves the tabbouleh and fried kibbeh with his meal. It may not be the most authentic Greek and Lebanese food around, but it’s great for a quick, yummy, affordable meal.

I wasn’t impressed. if you have ever had really great Greek food then you will rapidly begin to realize how middle of the road this(Greek/Mediterranean/Lebanese) food is. meh!(I will give them this. at the very least the salad’s are fresh and things don’t taste like they came from a can or a Jar.)

I’ve always liked THIS location of Zeus. It’s a sit-down restaurant, and not one of those silly«express» stops. As it will take you longer to eat here, rather than picking something up through a drive-thru at the express location, it seems that they take longer preparing your food. They take more care in preparing your food. This is a decent Greek/Lebanese food spot, that’s it… Nothing really special, I do not recommend the Lebanese tea, it tastes like piss. I do not recommend the hummus, because it’s simply not good. It’s too runny. Everything else is okay. That’s it.

Zeus Café is entirely serviceable Greek and Lebanese food. Their menu is a little more Americanized than I’m used too, but it definitely isn’t bad. They have sandwiches called«Arabi» sandwiches that are quite tasty. If you’re in Lafayette and get hit by the urge for a gyros or chicken shawarma you can’t go wrong by stopping at Zeus Café.

NASTY. I was sick for 2 days after eating the gyro sandwich which I ordered thinking it was the safest thing on the menu.
